*~*~*
It was a sunny day. The sky was clear from clouds. There could only be seen the clear, and wide blue sky. It was a very bright day, that most of the town folks were like joining the day. Well, they were all happy and energetic like usual, only with one exception. The new boy who just came to the town. The boy had just arrived at the town five days ago. Ever since he arrived at the town, he had been locking himself up in his room, that barely anyone could meet him, except for his guardian, who later became his adoptive father, and also his adoptive sister. There was another exception, though. One of the twin siblings had braved herself to go talk to the quiet and cold boy. She was eager actually to talk to the boy, even though she had always been ignored or shooed away by him. She sometime brought her brother with her and her other friends from the town as well, but they were still ignored, and after some days trying with no result, her friends one by one got tired of it almost immediately. Her brother, though, still accompanied her sometimes when he was not busy helping their mother with the farm.
Today was no different. She had been on her way to visit the boy again. Today she was alone as her brother had to help their mother. She had been trying many ways to get the boy out or at least let her inside his room. But up until now, none of her efforts had worked. Today, though, she had brought something with her, and she hoped that it would be able to make the boy opened the door for her. She was on her way to his place when she was stopped by one of her friends. "Hey, Lily!" She heard her name being called by a slightly heavier voice than hers. She turned her head to look at her boy friend. "Are you going to visit the Cafe again today?" A boy with blonde hair around her age asked. She just nodded her head with her bright smile plastered on her face. "Yeah, today I've brought something with me that I hope can make him at least open his door." She said excitedly. "Oh? What are you bringing today?" The boy asked curiously. The girl named Lily sheepishly took out what she had from behind her back. "It's a flower." She said grinning sheepishly. "A flower? For a boy? Are you sure, Lil?" He asked dumbfounded but then laughed at her. "Why are you laughing?" She asked her friend pouting slightly annoyed. "Well, he is a boy and you're giving him flower? While he had rejected your desserts, and the other stuffs previously, now you're going with flower?" He said between his laughter. Lily had pouted even more before turning away from him, stomping her way to the Cafe. "Just see about it!" She said before she left him laughing his heart off.
Once arriving at the Cafe, Lily greeted the cafe's owner along with his daughter who was also one of her best friends. "Lily, good morning. You come early today." The tall, muscular, yet feminine man greeted her as soon as she got inside the cafe. "Good morning." She greeted back with her bright smile. "And yes. I've come to give him something." She grinned sheepishly to him as she held the flower behind her back. "You sure are eager to meet him, huh Lily?" She heard her best friend said with her own bright smile. Lily turned to her and returned her smile. "Well, I just like making new friends, I guess?" She replied innocently. Her best friend let out a soft giggle. "Indeed you do, I suppose, and you are one person who never give up on it too while the others have raised their hands." She said laughing softly. Lily just shrugged. "Maybe I'm just too eager? Or too curious?" She joined in with her best friend's laugh. "I don't think that is pretty bad, though. In fact it makes you stronger, I guess." Her best friend said to her with her wide grin. "Thank you. I just hope today I'll success, though." She said giving a small laugh. "Well, good luck then!" Her best friend supported as she gave her a thumb up before heading to the boy's room.
Once she got in front of his room, she knocked the door softly like usual. "Um... Good morning." She greeted nervously. She wait for a while, but there was no respond. She knocked once again, but still no respond. The third time she knocked, she said, "I have something for you... Would you mind to open the door just to take it? You don't have to get out or to let me in if you don't want to..." She said behind the door. "You don't even have to let me see you at all." She added. Another silence came by. She waited another minute then she sighed. "Well... I'll just leave it here in front of your room then. I just picked it up this morning from my farm, so it is still fresh." She said as she put the flower she brought down on the floor right in front of the door. Just as she was about to let it go, though, she could hear a voice asked behind the door. "What did you bring?" She could hear his rusk and low voice from inside. "Eh? Ah..." She stood back up once again taking her flower back into her hand. "A...A flower...?" She answered nervously. Another silent erupted. "I-If you don't want it then I can just take it back with me." She added in hurry as she was afraid that she might annoy him or make him thought that she was insulting him. But before she even could turn around on her heels, she heard the door's lock clicked.
She watched as the door creaked open slightly, and saw a hand reached out to her. She was too speechless and taken aback that she could not understand what it meant. "Eh... Uh...?" She muttered quietly under her breath. "The flower." Came a simple reply from the owner of the hand behind the door. "Eh? Ah... O-okay. H-here..." She said stuttering as she handed him the flower. She saw how his hand retreated back inside with the flower right before the door closed almost immediately. She sighed as she saw it coming, but still smiled happily as he took the flower. She was just about to leave once again when she heard him spoke again. "A Peruvian Lily?" She heard him asked. "Uh... yeah..." She answered in a low voice nervously. "I never see it around here." He replied her. "I-I got it from my farm. My mother grew it with our help. She got the seeds from the city she used to lived in before." She explained enthusiastically as she felt happy that she could at least started up a conversation with the boy, even though he still did not let her see him. "What kind of flowers do you grow beside this?" He asked after a moment of silence. She could heard him getting interested and she giggled softly. "Well, my mother grew another type of lily flowers like the normal lily, lily of valleys, and the others. She also grew many other kinds of flowers on other seasons as well." She answered happily. "If you want, I can bring you another flower tomorrow!" She said excitedly. She waited for another silent moment before she heard him replied a simple word that could make her smile already. "Alright." Was the only replied he gave her before she headed home for the day with a big smile plastered on her face.

A certain dirty blonde haired boy was awoken on his bed in the bright and sunny morning. He opened his eyes slowly, adjusting at the bright room he was in from the sunlight from the window. Putting his arm above his forehead, he sighed. "What was that dream...?" He mumbled softly under his breath. He stretched slightly before sitting up on his bed. Looking up at the vase on his bedside table he saw a bouquet of fresh flowers in it. Then, he went to his wardrobe to take his change of clothes when he saw a flower that was similar to the one in his dream. Just that the flower in his wardrobe had withered. He took it out and looked at it for a moment. "A peruvian lily, huh...?" He mumbled quietly before he put the flower back to his wardrobe.
