Extended Summary;

The concept of a soulmate had always been painted in a sort of rosey colored light. From the moment she was a child, Zatanna Zatara had always been told; that a soulmate was meant to be the person made for her, the other half of her soul, the one that would complete her, and that the moment she found hers would be just magical.

...problem was, Zatanna never did find hers. She had watched her brother get his, she had watched each and every single one of her friends and coworkers find their other halves. Everyone except her.

For... she didn't have a mark. No timer on her wrist, no sentence in her body, no colorblindness, no mismatched eyes...

Nothing.

Nothing except... dreams. Dreams that had become more common as time had gone on. Dreams of a man, a red cloak and magic. So different from her own... so strange..

Those dreams helped her retain some hope; despite what others around her said, hope that she did have a soulmate. That there had to be somebody that matched the mysterious man that plagued her mind at night.

Unbeknownst to her, there was somebody. Somebody universes away.

Stephen Strange had never really been bothered by the fact that he belonged to the 10% of people in the world without a soulmate.

Or, at least that's what he had people think.

Resentment. Resentment and coldness was what took over him whenever the mere fact was brought up, specially due to his dreams. Taunting him with crystal blue eyes, a soft; warm smile, and magic so foreign and different from his own.

Truly whatever forces controlled his universe had to be particularly cruel.

Yet the lifes of both mystics shall change, once a rift between their realities; opened by Klarion, the Lord of Chaos, launches Zatanna from her world to another.

What will happen once the Magician and the Sorcerer Supreme meet?
