2. A Step Forward

The room had fallen silent. The leaders staring at the pictures. A Private Investigator huh? Taehyung thought to himself.

He looked at his brother who was waiting for his orders to proceed with the explanation of the emerging plan. He then stared at the other two, who were also awaiting for his approval, or at least some sort of reaction, an order.

He looked at his own two hands that were interlocked with each other, thumbs fidgeting. He himself was quite nervous. Not because he thought Namjoon, or whatever his name was, was a threat. No, it was because he was remotely disgusted at his brother's genius ideas. His brother wasn't that much of a planner, but he had a brain that was quite sharp, sparking ideas here and there for Taehyung to develop into a devilish plan.

"Alright, let's hear it." Taehyung sighed. His brother was shaking.

"I haven't thought of the entire plan, just an idea. What if we make Namjoon fall in love with Taehyung?" Jin said, prepared to get his throat sliced by his younger sibling.

Jimin was drinking a cup of tea he made before entering the room and instantly spat his last sip out at the suggestion
"Wh-What?!"

"You can not be serious" Yoongi stared at Jin, hoping that this suggestion was a dumb joke just like the rest he makes.

"Proceed" Taehyung said, shutting the mouths of the rest with his deep husky voice.

Jin calmed himself down, cleared his throat and lifted the weight of nervousness off of his shoulders.
"I was thinking that if we earn his trust, we can use him to our advantage."

"And why can't it be someone else? You're sending the LEADER of the mafia?! Are you joking? If he is caught then the entire organization fails!" Jimin snapped at Jin, being slightly panicked, seeing how Taehyung still hasn't opposed to it.

"Yes, I know it is a HUGE risk, but I trust Taehyung. He can be the greatest actor out of everyone in the Undercover Unit combined. He's also the mastermind of the planning Unit. And he has amazing qualities as a murderer and he is an overall genius. That's why he is our leader. Plus you didn't even let me finish my idea, or reasoning" the eldest of them all scolded, looking at Taehyung for his approval. It was very clear that everything said or done was monitored by Taehyung and how he thought of it or how he felt about it. Something like a Dictatorship.
