the meet up

Jake P.O.V:

Lilly told me to meet her at Starbucks, so I ran their as fast as I could. When I got their, I saw her black Lexus in the parking lot. I go inside and noticed her sitting at a table and I could see tears in her eyes and some have also stained her cheeks. I go over and say "can I sit here" she immediately replies with "yes" but it kind of sounded like she didn't want me to but she had to because she wanted to find out what happened to her dog. 

Lilly P.O.V:

when Jake arrived, all I wanted to do was punch him in the face, but I love Starbucks, so if I punched him I might not be allowed to come back. he asked if he could sit next to me but I didn't want him to like, he lost my dog, Rossco was like my son, I treated him as he was a human and he lost him, I asked "what happened Jake, and tell me the truth" he told me everything about Rossco chasing after the other dog and how he couldn't find him. When he told me that he looked like he was about to start crying. On the first day Jake ever walked Rossco I told him that if Rossco ever sees another dog he will try to chase after him. I asked him " so what are we gonna do" he answered with "your coming over to my house tonight and we're gonna look for him until we find him alright" I nodded my head and smiled a little bit.
