I stretch out my legs with a light groan as the sunlight spread throughout the room. Why my human insisted on leaving the curtains open I have no idea. I open my eyes and wince slightly, my eyes adjust quickly and I stand up. With a quick stretch, I jump off the bed and slink towards my food bowl. The sight I am greeted with however is utterly tragic, it is empty. My tail flicks in annoyance and I look towards my sleeping human. My eyes narrow at the peaceful look upon her face, how dare she be peaceful when I am going to starve to death over here. With a huff, I open my mouth and begin to call for her to wake up. I notice her stir slightly but she just falls back asleep and I let out a groan. My stomach feels like it is about ready to eat itself so I give up on pleasantries. I stand up and move back to the bed jumping up once more, this time I slide over to my human's face. My tail flicks about in frustration and I dart my paw out, swatting her on the nose. With no response, I repeat my action but with a meow.
Finally, after a few tries she wakes up and I dart off to sit in front of my food bowl. I hear her grumble something unintelligible and get out of bed, moving towards my food container. I twist my ears at the sounds of my food moving within it. After waiting for what seems to be a century she finishes filling my bowl and puts the container back before returning to bed. Lazy human barely even willing to feed me, not to mention she gave such a measly amount, how cruel.
After finishing my meal, I move to my castle and begin to sharpen my claws on the centre pole. My eyes move to the window and I see rain pouring down, we'll there go my plans outside. With another huff, I jump onto my castle bed and curl up in a ball, my tail curling around me. With a content sigh, I let myself drift into a gentle slumber.
My rest is soon interrupted by footsteps and talking. My eyes slowly lift open and I glance around without moving a muscle. I spot my human getting dressed before taking in the open door. Finally, I thought she was going to keep me trapped in here forever. I hop down from my castle and check my food bowl, nope still a measly amount. With a flick of my tail, I disappear into the hallway and slink into the lounge room. A familiar scent invades my nose and my eyes scan the room before resting on my target. The oldest cat in the house, a mean old grump who hates all cats and loves sucking up to the humans.
My tails swishes from side to side in excitement and I drop lower to the ground before silently sneaking up to her. Once I am close enough I lean back on my haunches and pull myself taunt. Without any hesitation, I proceed to launch myself up and onto the couch and land right on top of her. Her eyes snap open and a yowl of surprise sounds throughout the room. I quickly dart away, narrowly missing her sharp claws as she lashes out at me. I turn back to hear her throwing insults at me and growling in irritation, I tilt my head back and let out a deep laugh. With a smug grin, I trot away from the grumpy cat.
Walking into the kitchen I see my owner looking down at me with a deep frown. Uh oh, I do believe I have made her mad, most likely from teasing the grump. Just as I prepare myself to run off and escape her wrath I notice her frown slowly turn into a light smile and she lets out a quiet chuckle. "You little rascal, how many times have I told you to leave her alone", I walk over and start to purr after hearing the amusement in her sweet and gentle voice. With a shake of the head, she bends down and lifts me up into her arms where I quickly take the chance to rub my scent on her and show my affection.
Soon enough we return to her room and she places me back on the ground before walking off to do something I couldn't care less about. Spotting my mouse toy I quickly drop and stalk towards it with a light growl. Once I am close enough I tackle it and begin to play fight with it. After a while, I grow bored of playing and decide to grab a drink and eat some more. Noticing my now empty bowl after eating I let out a groan and silently pray to the cat goddess to make my human feed me more. If she isn't careful having no food for an hour or two will cause me to starve to death, cruel human. I grumpily trot over to the bed and gracefully leap onto it. Finding the best spot on the bed I spread myself and with a yawn, quickly fall into a peaceful slumber.

Hey guys!
So I haven't posted in a while and decided to write something random. As cats do my cat just waltzed up and flopped onto my lap almost landing on my keyboard. So, of course, my mind was like, 'hey let's write a cat story'. So here we are.
I hope you liked reading it and got a few laughs in at my opinion of my cat's life.
