Eren x Reader: Death

The Recon Corps. I've always wanted to meet them, but I'm currently in the Military Police. I ranked number one in the 107th training squad. I chose Military police because I had a near death experience, and I didn't want that to happen again.

We are currently in court to decide who Eren Jäger with be handed to. He lost control of himself and nearly took the life of his Corporal. I'm certain that he'll be killed if he's handed to the Military Police.

Levi stood across the court from me, keeping his eyes locked on Eren. His arm was in a sling due to Eren breaking it.

"Now, Erwin Smith, tell me again why you wish to keep Jäger after what happened."

"He might have lost control, and tried to kill Lance Corporal Levi, but I'm certain it wasn't intentional."

"This is bogus!" Levi shouted. "This brat was lucky to have hit me!"

"Sir, if I may!" I shouted. I wanted supposed to say a word, but I couldn't just stand back and stay silent.

"Shut your trap, recruit!"

"Let her speak! Proceed, ______."

"Thank you sir. I wanted to know if I would be able to talk to Eren and Levi privately, just to get an idea on what exactly happened."

The judge sat there for a minute, keeping everybody in question of his decision.

"I'll allow it."

Eren was released from his position and walked outside beside Levi. I followed close behind.

"Are you wanting each side of the story, or what?" Levi asked.

"Actually, sir, I wanted both of you to tell me what happened."

"I was cleaning, just as Corporal asked, and I cut myself on the bookshelf, causing me to go titan. I don't know why I lost control, it just happened!"

Eren began to tear up, he was afraid of what would happen.

"______, I know your with the Military Police, but please, help me live!"

"As much as I hate to say it, life wouldn't be much the same without Eren around. He keeps everyone's spirits up, help him ______."

Eren Jäger's life was in my hands. How was I supposed to help him live with the rest of the Military Police against me?

"I guess I can only hope. If I fail, then fight to the death to keep you safe. I promise."

Eren's eyes never lit up, he was still in fear of losing his life.

The three of us walked back inside and took our assigned areas back. I was called to give my finding, but I felt I would fail.

"What did you figure out about the situation?"

I stood firm, no fear in my eyes, and gave my salute.

"Your honor, I've came to see that Eren Jäger did no wrong. He was doing as Mr. Rivaille told him to do and cut himself on a bookcase. If he was to be spared of death be Military Police, and given back to the Scouting Legion, then everything will be back to normal."

I have my heart into those words. I looked back at Eren and Levi, but couldn't help notice the sincerity in Levi's eyes. It looked as if he pitied me.

"No."

"What!?" I shouted.

"Eren Jäger will not be handed to the Scouting Legion or the Military Police. Instead, he will have a public death. You shall be the one to kill him."

My heart sank. I've been dating Eren for a year now, and nobody has found out. Could this be why Levi looked as if he pitied me?

I dropped to my knees and buried my face in my hands. I could hear Eren thrashing. He wanted free of his restraints, but nobody would let him.

I stood tall, burning tears staining my cheeks.

"I love him more than anybody can understand! If I lose him, then I am nothing but a useless excuse for a human being!"

"______! What are you doing!" Eren shouted. He wasn't only angry, but heartbroken.

I walked to Eren and kneeled before him. I place my hands on his cheeks and smiled faintly.

"I love you Eren Jäger, and if you die, I die. Nothing and nobody will stop me from being with you."

I kissed him softly, drew my sword, and held it to his throat.

"______, rethink what your doing! Please!!" Eren screamed.

"I'll be with you soon my dear."

I cut his throat, then my own soon after.

What have I become?

I loved him, yet...had the heart to kill him.

"I love you, Eren Jäger."

"And I love you, ______."
