☽ Stay Until the A.M.

Charlie laughs as we watch Rush Hour and I can't help but laugh too

Charlie and I are really close friends, although I can't say I don't wish we were more than that

We've know each other for almost a year now and although my relationship with him hasn't escalated the way I would want it to, just having a friendship with a person like Charlie is good enough

"Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan are easily one of the most iconic duos right?" He asks, looking over to me

I smile to him "Oh definitely"

Out of habit, I grab my phone and look to see what time it is

"Oh crap, is it really almost past midnight?", I ask in awe to see Charlie looking to me in shock too

"No way. Really?" He says chuckling

"I guess I should be going", I say and reluctantly start to get up

"No wait..", he grabs my hand and our hands linger against each other

I feel a small smile on my face as I feel my cheeks heat up as I look at our hands

"Just stay a little bit longer. Please?", he asks, playfully pouting, making me laugh

"For what Charlie? To watch Rush Hour 2, maybe the third one too?", I asked playfully

"I don't really care what we do Y/N, I just.. I just know that I don't want this night to end", he says looking into my eyes

I look down smiling, it's not like I can say no to those gorgeous eyes of his

"Alright fine, but I can't stay too long okay?", I say pointing at him and he's put his arms in the air in defense

"Okay deal, no more than an hour", he says smiling

Almost 4 hours later

"I should have left when I had the chance", I say laughing

He laughs along "But we both know you wouldn't because who can say no to me", he says smirking at me

I nudge his shoulder playfully, "Shut up"

We're currently outside, laying on a blanket on the ground, looking at the stars

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen. It's just whenever we're together, time just seems to fly by and it never feels enough" he says looking into my eyes

I smile to him "Yeah I feel the same way"

We continue to look each other's eyes until I feel his lips on mine

My stomach erupted into butterflies and I couldn't believe how amazing and right it felt to be kissing Charlie

We soon parted for air

"Now that's something I've been wanting to do almost since I've met you", he chuckles

"Yeah same here", I grin at him and I scoot closer to him and place my head on his chest

I feel his chest rise and stiffen as he yawns

"Come on, you obviously need to get to bed", I smile to him, starting to get up but he grabs my hand, making me look back to him

"I'm exactly where I want to be, and I think you are too" he says, interwinding our fingers

I smile and lay back down next to him

Soon enough we both fall asleep

Sometime later, I feel my eyes open as light starts to hit my face

I squint to see the sun is starting to rise and I look at Charlie to see he is still sound asleep

I smile to myself and lay back down

Charlie's arm goes around me, making me gasp lightly

"Thanks for staying with me", his voice deep and raspy from being asleep

"It was my pleasure", I say as I snuggle back into him
