Boss: Mr. Larado, take your break please You're working to hard

Chris goes to his car and sits in silence for a few minutes. Cranks the car up and heads for home. He gets to the light and hes the only one there. Its the only light between his work and his house. He thinks about running it but then his car shuts off. "This is a sign" he says to himself he turns the keys but the battery's dead. "FUCK" he says as he tries to get out but the doors lock on their own. Thinking nothing of it he pulls the lock up on the door and gets out. Opening the hood he looks around to see if someone is nearby to help him with a boost. He sees nobody. He pulls out his phone and calls his girlfriend.

Chris: Mama im sorry i woke you but my car died at the light come save me baby.

Melissa: yea let me get jr dressed im on my way.

Chris gets back in his car and still no car in sight. Looks at the time and it says 9:30 p.m hes due back at work at 10. 10 minutes go by and nobody. He calls his girlfriend back and it goes straight to voicemail. He calls his job and tells them his situation and they said he could just stay home.

*BANG BANG BANG*

An old skinny man with a cigar in his mouth was at the hood of his car pointing to his car and signals him to come here . Chris gets out and greets the man

Chris:THANK YOU SIR im Chris

Old man: no need to thank me young man. Im Henry

Chris: i called my girl to come but something must of happened and i called my job to see if they'd help me but they said just for me to solve my problem and stay home. Ive been here for 45 minutes. Im worried.

Henry goes to his trunk and gets the jumper cables and hooks the cars up.

Henry: Yea! My old lady wanted me to go pick up her meds she's been real cranky recently. But anyway im here to help. Have you tried calling her again?

Chris: Yes several times. I just need to get home.

Henry signals chris to turn his car on and it starts. Chris gets out to thank the man but he is no longer there. He was already out of sight. Before he leaves he calls his job to see if he could go home and check on things and go back to work. Confused his job asks him if he's been smoking dope. Replying with a no his job says that they never recieved a call from him about his situation and they want to do a drug test on him when he gets back. "i quit im not on dope". He calls his girlfriend and she answers

Melissa:Hey baby are you on your way home alreadyy?

Chris: What happened to you coming to save me?

Melissa: what are you talking about?

Chris: nothing nevermind.... Ill see you when i get home.

After chris hangs up a private number calls him and he answers

Chris: Hello?

POP: Chris come get me i need your help! Come quick..

Chris: Kevin?

POP: yea its Kevin look i really need you im in Atlanta.

Chris: You made it to Atlanta? Who are you with man?

Kevin: CHRIS COME GET ME THEIR COMING FOR ME CHRIS PLEASE I NEED YOU..... THEY ARE CRAZY. THEY DONT WANT ME TALKING TO YOU...

In the background you can hear people screaming and gunshots

Kevin: IM WITH HOPE AND MITCHELL NAVARRO I GO BACK TO MANCON IN FIVE DAYS COME GET MEE BROTHER

The phone loses connection and Chris is in a state of shock.
