after getting his sandwich from the place he loved the most it was time for peter to make is daily rounds around the city, making  sure everything was at peace.

it was a slow, calm day for the friendly neighborhood hero, making it easier to see her  again. the freckles that doted her nose and her flowing hair couldn't escape the boys mind, sure she was cute but something about her was different than others.

on his way back to his apartment there she was sitting in peace on the fire escape, she couldn't see him from the side angle he was at but  man she was beautiful, the city lights danced against her face while she looked over the city they called home.

"what are you doing out here all alone" he asked before swinging up next to her. his stomach in a knot, nervous  as ever but never would he let her know that.

"i could ask you the same" she snapped back before smiling at the hero. peter could tell she was joking around and found her giggle adorable.

"well do you need some company?" he asked the eager girl while pointing to the spot next to her, he could see into her room a little bit, her dog laying by the window. he saw an array  of movie posters on her wall. on her desk he could see the camera that looked ever so familiar and a record player next to that.

"don't you have like people to save?" she asked while looking straight at peter with her deep brown eyes making him melt.

"this is my last stop." he said laughing, the nerves hitting more than ever as he sat next to her and brushed her hand

keeping each other's company till it was completely dark.  peter was satisfied with the night he's had.

his spider senses picked up feet running from inside the room.

"well that's my queue, can we talk again tomorrow?" she said to him while smiling and pointing behind her

"i'll need some company."

"it was nice talking to you spider-man."

"and you too aliza"

peter made sure she got in all safe before he went up to his room. her smile never left his thought. with her smile and the upcoming chem test on his mind he drifted into a sleep like no other.
