Katie’s P.O.V.

It’s Liam from One Direction, I’m sure of it! But why is he just standing in the middle of the street. A yellow taxi speeds around the corner and heads towards him, the driver seemingly out of control.

“LIAM!” I shout. He turns to look at me, and my stomach turns to butterflies. It is him. The boy I have dedicated my life to for the past year. I have spent every waking moment thinking about him, picturing his flawless face and beautiful voice. And now he is right in front of me… about to get hit by a car.

“LIAM! WATCH OUT!!” I scream, trying to break him out of his daze. What is he staring at anyway? He’s just looking at me, his eyes wide in wonder, lips slightly parted. Luckily, my screaming seems to snap him back to reality and he spins around, and freezes. Why isn’t he moving? Why is he just standing there? Why isn’t he running out of harm’s way to save his life? The taxi is speeding closer, and shows no signs of stopping.

I begin to run towards him. I don’t know what I’m doing; I just know I have to do something. I’m sprinting, giving everything I have into getting to him in time.

The car is almost on top of him when I get there. Not knowing what else to do, I run straight into him, shoving him out of the way before he can be hurt. I am just in time. I collide with him at top speed, successfully pushing him to the side. I guess I hit with a bit too much force, as he trips and stumbles, sprawling across the side walk, scraped up, but alive.

I hope he isn’t hurt too badl- I have time to think before the speeding taxicab smashes into my left side.
