She waved goodbye to her godmother several minutes later and returned her attention to her class schedule.

English? First? Okay. But the real question was, how the hell would she get to room 12B? She sighed and anxiously stared around the room of moving students.

"D-do you need umm help?" A timid voice asked from behind her. Elizabeth turned around and faced the brunette girl from before, Angelica wasn't it?

"Well, I wouldn't hate it." She gave a genuine smile.

"Alright. And I promise I won't talk so much this time." She grinned. Elizabeth nodded.

"Lead the way. I have English first."

"Second year room 12B? I don't have that class. What do you have after that though?" Angelica inquired.

"Chemistry." Elizabeth answered.

"Damn not that either. Can I see?"she stretched out her hand for the class schedule as they walked.

"'course."Elizabeth handed the piece of paper to her.

"Oh here it is. We have Calculus together after lunch. My worst subject. Are you any good?"she smiled up at her with hazel eyes, handing back the paper.

"A little." Elizabeth didn't want to brag, but anything involving numbers was her strong point.

"You can help me then. I'm frankly hopeless. I mean ive tried a couple of times to wrap my head around it but I just don't get it. The numbers and even worse, letters, don't make any sense. And I'm not dyslexic either. Me and mom went and got me checked. The doctors said I'm perfectly fine so mom figures I'm just being lazy but really I'm not. I just really don't get i-"she suddenly stopped when she saw Elizabeth smile ruefully at her.

"Darn I'm doing it again. Sorry." She said bashfully.

"It's fine. It's kind of cute." Elizabeth laughed at the short brunette.

"Thanks." After a while of walking, they made to a translucent door with 12B in bold white lettering. "And we're here."

"Thank you Angelica." Elizabeth said grasping the knob.

"No probs. Hey, what's ur name?"she said, stopping Elizabeth's twisting hand. She turned to smile once again.

"Elizabeth Jade."

"Oh, well see you at lunch ,Eli." She waved walking away.

"Yeah. See ya."Elizabeth shook her head. Had the girl just called her Eli? That sounded too familiar. Like they were  friends.

It's been long since Elizabeth has had one of those. It felt queer. But she shook the thought off and opened the door to English class.
