Albert's POV

I started texting Jake.

"Hey."
"Sup. What do u need?"
"You wanna eat out?"
"That's weird..."
"Ik I rarely ask this question. Btw I am starving."
"Where's Lana? Can't you go eat out with her?"
"You don't want eat with me?"
"I'm kinda busy studying for a test in the future. I want to get it all done now so I can have some free time."
"Aww ok 😢."
"Fine I'll go! What time u picking me up?"
"Me picking u up? You joking right?"
"Ugh never mind."
"Just kidding! Of course I'll pick you up!"
"Good, what time we goin?"
"It is 4:15 rn, so... at 5:00."
"👌🏼."

Can't wait for this! Eh, I guess this is a date. Lana won't get mad. She'll know I'm just hanging out with him... alone. All these years of being friends with him really made me like him. Lets see, he's handsomely cute, funny, and single. He'll be easy to get. I must get ready in time though. I've been wasting time just talking to myself.

Hmm... I guess I'll wear this one. He said that this one looked cool on me before.

Lana walked into the room. Shit, I forgot to lock the door! She stared at me as I was still in my boxers. "Where are you going?" She asked. "M-meeting up with my friends, why you ask?" I lied. She gave me a stare with her eyes quinted. Does she know I'm lying? Oh no, what if she does? "Is it boys only?" She said. Her eyes went back to normal size. Phew. "Yes," I lied. "We're all going to the Guy Den...." "Okay, have fun there!" She said picking up her little leather brown gab and throwing it on her shoulder.

       "Where are you going?" I asked. "Oh, a little bit of shopping with my friends," Lana said. "Oh, ok. Well, have fun! Don't spend all your money, babe!" I said. She walked out the room and I can hear her footsteps going down stairs.

Jake's POV

       Ugh, what am I going wear? I'll just wear this. My sweat pant shorts, and my grey sleeveless top will do. I'll wear my sandals and we good to go! Should I take my camera? Why not? I'm already finished, why not do some more studying? I sat on my chair, opened my book back to the page I left off on, and started taking notes.

Nobody's POV

       It was 4:55. Albert was on his way to pick up Jake in his shiny (dirtyish) black car.

       5 minutes later, he arrived at Jake's house all prepared and starving of course. He patted off some dust off his shoulder, and patted his pants. He knocked on Jake's door, and he answered after a minute. "Where were you? You took quite long," Albert asked. "Stunning," Jake said slowly, scanning Albert with his eyes. "Stunning?" He teased. "N-no! I said studying!" Jake said, looking away. Albert chuckled. "Where do you want to go?" He asked.

       "I thought you had something planned," Jake said. "Oh! Then uh... W-we'll go to Gamer's Stop," Albert said. "Can't wait to eat the pizzas!" Both hopped in the car and Albert drove to Gamer's Stop. The logo looked like the GameStop's font, same colors and everything, but, it was an arcade and restraint. People rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. They just complain about the slow arcade machines. Gamer's Stop has two areas. Adult Playground, and Children Playground.

       The Adult Playground has a bar, gambling, and gaming machines. You can find drunk people every time you go in there. In the Children's Playground, it's like John's Incredibles. Fun little rides, gaming arcades, tickets, and prizes.

Jake's POV

       Why is he dressed up like that? Is he just trying to be cute? Cause he is- No, we came for Gamer's Stop. I-I don't like him! He is handsome though.

       "Albert, do you like me?" I asked. I wasn't sure what emotion he was in. He smiled. "Of course," he said. "It's ok if you don't." "Like, I have this feeling where I'm keep saying that I like you, but I'm keep reminding myself not to like you," I said.

       "Aww, so selfish and cute," Albert said.

       "D-don't say that!" I said.
