Chapter 7

Mal's POV
"I've got it", I shouted all of a sudden scaring everyone in the room because it was quiet until I spoke. I flipped through my spell book given to me by my mother and found a love potion.

"All we have to do is make this love potion but put it in like cookies or something and when Ben eats it and he immediately sees me he will fall in love with me.

"Well then lets head to the kitchen", said Jay.

Jay and Carlos left first but I stayed behind to talk to Evie.

"Babe are you alright. I know that this isn't the plan that you wanna use but it's something that we have to do. As soon as the villains are here and they kick everyone out of their castles you and I can take one and live together with a bunch of servants if you'd like."

"It's fine who knows maybe while you're doing this love potion stuff I can go play with one of these Auradon boys," she said trying to force a smile.

"Okay then, let's go."

Author POV

The V.K's were finally in the kitchen making the cookie dough when an Auradon girl walked into the kitchen looking for Mal.

"Hey Mal a bunch of us girls were wondering if your could do our hair the same way you did Jane's? We're willing to pay." You see earlier in the day Mal had done Jane's hair to coax her into talking about the magic wand, and when she did she gave Jane a new sense of confidence in herself.

Before Mal even had the chance to say anything Evie had answered for her by snatching the bag of money and saying "She'll do it...I needed new fabrics anyway."

Mal just shrugged and did the same spell that she did for Jane. it was only after she had finished that Lonnie (let's just pretend that she introduced herself) noticed what the V.K.'s were doing.

"Late night snack?" she asked as she dipped her finger in the batter and licked it, much to the dismay of the V.K.'s. "Don't worry I'm not gonna double dip." she said as she wiped off her fingers on her skirt.

"Do you feel any different?" asked Mal

Just to test the effects Jay then stepped in front of her tried to use some of his signature charm, but Lonnie just looked at him like he was crazy. "Well it could use some choclate chips," she said as she went to the fridge and got the topping.

All of the V.K.'s stared at her like she was crazy because they had no idea what they were looking at.

"What didn't your parents ever give you like treats and stuff when you were kids?"

"No not really. Villain parents are the kinds of parents who tell their children "Do this for me or I'll have to kill you""

"Oh, I'm so sorry. That must have been so hard trying to grow up in an environment like that." she said as she shed a tear in which Mal oh so secretely wiped it off and tossed into the cookie mix.

"Anyway gotta finish these cookies cuz you know gotta go to class in the morning." Mal said as she hurried Lonnie out of the kitchen.

"Alright Evie get a cookie sheet and boys get a cookie cutter."

Next Day Still Author POV

The V.K.'s were standing at Mal's locker with Jay trying to impress some girls with Carlos behind him looking bitter because he can't be all lovey dovey with his boo in public. Ben walked up to them and Mal started to work her charm.

"Hey Bennie-boo," Mal says in her best nice girl voice. "Actually only Audrey is allowed to call me that.""Aww well anyway I made some cookies if you would like to try them." "Well no I actually don't eat before a big game." "Oh it's okay I get it that is probably like rule one to not a take food from the child of a villain," Mal said with a small smirk that only the other V.K.'s could see.

"No I didn't mean it like that," and with that Ben ate the cookie because he felt bad for hurting the V.K.'s feelings. As soon as Mal saw him smile she stepped right in front of him and so that when the spell took over him she would be the first person that he would see.

"How do you feel?" asked Jay

"I feel...like singing a song." Mal quickly had to cover his mouth so that he would be quieter, but they all knew that the plan had worked.

Ben had walked off because Mal told him that he needed to go get ready for his game.

"Mal why did you tell him to get ready the game is not for almost 8 hours?" asked Carlos

Mal smirked at Jay who smirked back and they then turned to Evie and Carlos.

"Because we have to celebrate the plan going so well."

It was then that Evie and Carlos knew what they were talking about and the two of them said the exact same thing at the exact same time....."Horndogs".
