Chara x Reader

To the beach!

You guys started heading down to the sea.
The sand was silky as it ran though your blue flip flops, you smiled and then looked at Chara, she wasn't looking so happy.
You stand still and wait for her to catch up and ask her what's wrong.
She replies with: "Nothing, I'm fine".
To you that wasn't really convincing so you gave her a comforting hug to cheer her up, it worked!
She was smiling and looked more alive, which made you happy too.

You decided to catch up with Frisk and Asriel, you hold Chara's hand and drag her gently along with you.

You were heading down to the sea, Frisk and Asriel holding hands just in front of you, it was very hot, if you had to estimate it was about 28-34 degrees, you didn't feel that great, being in the direct rays of the sun for a long time isn't too healthy for you, especially if you don't go out that much with your friends, which mostly happens to you.

You're at the water now, it's beautiful in the sun as it sparkles.

Asriel sets a towel down for him and Frisk, then you get a towel out of your beach bag for yourself and Chara, you were more interested in sitting down, Chara was the complete opposite, she ran straight for the water not holding back.

You didn't really get much sleep the night before, so you lied down and closed your eyes for a bit, you could feel the sun beating down on your face quite violently.

Eventually it became too much for you, there was a shop nearby, you were lucky enough to bring some cash with you.

You walked in and saw a beautiful striped umbrella with a detachable stand that can go on hard ground and in the sand.

You had enough money to buy it, so you did.

You stepped out of the shop and saw the three of them having fun, Chara has always liked water, you remember that time when you were kids [Before monsters were put underground] Toriel drove you to the local pool and Chara refused to get out.

In the end, Toriel had to drag Chara out, poor thing, she was enjoying it so much.

You walk down to where your towel was and put the umbrella up for some shade and continued lying down, that's when Chara decided to prank you, Chara ran up to you at full speed, Bucket of cold sea water in hand...

SPLASH!

She drenched you and at the same time scared the living daylights out of you.

"Got ya' (Y/N)!" She chuckled

You became very flustered and Chased after Chara for her doing, the sun was at it's highest point now, you begin to feel like you were earlier, unsure of what it is, you sit down where you were.

"Hey, are you ok, you don't look to good" Chara said quietly.

"Yeah, just gotta rest for a second" You replied.

You felt really dizzy, your skin was pale and hot and what made matters worse is that you we're tired.

All of a sudden, where you were sat, everything went black. . . You fainted because of heatstroke, Chara Was panicking, not knowing what to do she called the couple over.

Asriel and Frisk came rushing over, Frisk put her hand to your forehead and quickly took it away.

"Ah! She's burning hot" Frisk spoke.

"She must of gotten heatstroke while we weren't paying attention" Asriel explained.

Chara got out your phone, she knew the passcode so she opened it, then found the contact labelled 'Mum' and rung it.

Toriel picked up the phone with a greeting "Howdy, (Y/N), is everything okay?"

"MUM!" Chara screamed into the phone, showing a lot of concern towards you.

"Chara? What are you doing with (Y/N)'s phone?" She knew something was up but continued to question the situation.

"Mum, there's no time, we need you at the beach now!" Chara spoke.

"Alrighty, I'll be there in 5" She hung up after that short sentence.
