7. 1st Tattoo/Confessing

KIT'S POV.

I. Am. So. Fucking. Screwed. 

So one thing about me as a little is that once I come out of my headspace I kind of forget things, I don't forget everything that happened but I forget some things. So last night I was trying so hard not to ask Ming 'what are we?' are we boyfriends? or just friends? I was trying so hard not to ask him that, but guess what? I fucked up and asked him right before I fell asleep so I didn't even get to hear his answer. And now he keeps teasing me, leaving subtle hints about it. I want to talk to him about it but I'm too scared to get rejected, even if we're already 'technically' dating. Well, KitKat and Ming are at least, but not KIT and Ming. 

"Kit, you alright?" Beam asked as we were walking out of class and to the tattoo shop I work at.

"Yeah, just kinda mad at my little side," I said, everyone (my close friends) knew I was a little. 

"What happened?" Beam asked. I told him everything as we walked and once we got to the shop I kinda jumped cause Ming was there sitting at my desk/drawing area. 

Beam and I just look at each other like 'wtf do we do now?'

"Hey Kit," Ming said

"Sup?" I walked over to my desk and stood next to where he was sitting looking through my sketchbook. 

"He wants to get a tattoo," Forth said as he was getting a tattoo (that's why Beam came with Kit cause Forth was there)

"Cool," I was getting my area/'office' set up while was I was talking to Ming. 

"What kind of tattoo do want?" I asked turning the tattoo gun on to make sure it was working since it was a pretty old gun, (2-4 years old)

"How about this one?" And he shows me one of my very 1st designs, its a bracelet effect (goes all the way around the wrist) and as a heart surrounded by flowers.

"If you 100% want it i can do it for you," I said

He smiled and nodded, "how much does a tattoo like this cost?" He was curious since i told him these are pretty expensive,

"Uh, this one would be about  ฿5831.70," i said as i started making the stencil for Ming's tattoo,  ($175usd)

"Its cheaper than i thought it would be," Ming said

"It's a smaller tattoo so it wont be as expensive as a larger one, like Forth's his tattoos range from 200-1050+," i said

"Says the one spening nearly 5,000 on wings" Mike, another artist i work with, said as he was working on Forth's sleeve

"Hey it's a lot more than just wings, have you seen the sketch?" I asked finishing the stencil and having Ming lay is arm on the table so i could clean his wrist and get it ready for the tattoo.

"Not yet, I'll look at it when im done here," he said and went back to work

"Will it hurt?" Ming asked looking, more like staring at my face,

"Yeah, but if it hurts to much hold Beam's hand," i said as Beam sat next to Ming and was filming eveything for my Instagram.

Ming nodded and i started working on his tattoo.

- about 5 hours later -

"That didnt hurt that much," Ming was surprised he thought it would've been worse.

"It really depends on the person how much it'll hurt and stuff," i said cleaning up his wrist a bit before letting leaving it alone before having to wrap it up so it can heal.

"Thanks Kit," Ming smiled and hugged me after i came over and sat next to him.

"No problem, that's one of my favorite designs," i said and leaned on his shoulder

"Kit! Stop being cute!" Ming smiled and kissed my cheek.

I blushed and looked away..

- at home 6 hours later -

"Hey Kit can we talk for a bit?" Ming asked after i helped him change the wrap on his wrist

"Um sure what's up?" I asked sitting on the couch with him

"I know that KitKat and I are basically dating, but i wanted to tell you that..*sighs* can i just straight up with you?" Ming asked

I nodded,

"I like you ALOT. To the point where i think im staring to fall in love with you, and I know you dont really know how that feels but i want to show you what its like to be in love and to be loved,"
Ming said and held my hand

That was the cutest thing I've ever heard in my entire life.

"You want to be my boyfriend?" I asked

He nodded, "i want to be your boyfriend,"

I smiled, "then yes ill be your boyfriend,"  

He smiled and hugged me, we were both really happy that it was finally offical and that i now know that he wasn't just messing around earlier and that he actually liked me.
