"Dang it....." Webby groaned into her pillow.

Webby was sick. And she absolutely hated being sick. She didn't get to go outside, run around, and just do Webby things. And with the boys now here, they were probably going to pester her and give her a headache along with the one she already had. She could already her them talking and running down the stairs.

     "Huh? Where's Webby?" Dewey said.

"Yeah, she's usually up hours before us," a confused Huey said.

"Meh. Probably just slept in," Louie casually said.

"Well, I'm going to go check on her, you guys go," Dewey stated.

The two other ducks just shrugged and headed towards the dining room for breakfast.

"Webby?" Dewey said as her knocked on her bedroom door.

"Go away......." A sleepy Webby replied back.

Dewey decided not to listen to Webby and walked inside the bedroom. It was dark, there were tissues everywhere and a object inside of a blanket that he assumed was Webby.

"Are you okay Webby?" Dewey asked as her got closer to her.

"Could be better. I probably am suffering from a mix of a cold, the flu, and a fever. Multiplied by one hundred." Webby mumbled back.

It was quiet between the two for about a minute. Then Dewey started to make loud siren noises and yelled out, "EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY! BEEP! BOOP! THE WEBSTER IS SICK! EMERGENCY SICK PROTOCOL!"

"What the he-" Webby was about to say before Dewey cut her off.

"It's kind of a thing we do when one of us or Uncle Donald is sick. The duck that is sick is treated with extreme care and helpfulness for the rest of the time they are sick. Here they come now." Dewey explained.

The boys rushed into the room and proceeded to throw pillows and ice packs at Webby. Louie brought Webby's favorite stuffed animals while Huey looked up in his Juinor Woodchuck Guidebook to see exactly what Webby was suffering from. All while Dewey jabbed a thermometer into her mouth. After, all the boys rushed out of the room, Huey saying, "Privacy and silence is the key to getting better."

Webby was still stunned even after the boys had left. What the heck just happened?  Webby thought to herself. But then, she started to get a sick feeling in her stomach. Whenever Webby had a really high fever like this, she would start to say things she should not say. She was really worried. What if I tell  Huey and Louie about this Della Duck thing Dewey and I are doing? She thought. She gulped, What if I tell Dewey I like him?

After her worrying, Webby eventually fell back asleep. Mrs. Beakley would come in from time to time to give her food and water, which Webby would wake up to eat.

Later on, Dewey came into the room to find Webby sleeping. It was one of the cutest things he had ever seen. He gently woke her up to check on her.

     "Webby," he said.

Webby woke up and looked at him, a dazed smile on her face.

"Y'know, I never got to thank you for all your help earlier, Dewey," Webby slurred. She was talking from her high fever.

Webby grabbed Dewey by his cheek, leaned in and kissed him. After what seemed to be an eternity, they finally let go of each other.

"I love you Dewey," Webby said.

"I love you too, Webby," Dewey said.

Dewey walked out of Webby's room with a wide smile on his face. He wouldn't even care that he would get sick from Webby the next day.
