Dewey was a rather attractive young man. As the ducks moved on to high school, there were more than a few popular girls who wanted to date him. But, in their second year of high school, Dewey and Webby were finally an item. Although, when they would go on dates, Webby would see the way girls looked at him. How they shamelessly flirted with an oblivious Dewey. Heck, just the other night their waitress tried to flirt with him! It made her blood boil. People just didn't understand that Dewey was hers. Hopefully, no slut would try this at their date this following Saturday.
Webby and Dewey walked into the movie theater that following Saturday. Webby was just bubbling with excitement! She had chosen a horror movie, "The Crooked Sailor," and she loved horror movies! Dewey on the other hand, was not doing so well. He could fight a giant dragon, but horror movies scared the crap out of him. But, he put up with it for Webby. Plus, he could hold her hand if he got scared.
"You know, if you don't want to see that horror movie, we don't have to see it," Webby said.
"Relax, I'll be fine. Besides, it'll be you that will be clinging to your dashing dew-riffic knight in shining armor!" Dewey said, striking a pose.
"Yeah right Dewford! You're lucky you're cute," Webby laughed, throwing popcorn at Dewey.
"I was cursed with my handsomeness at a young age," Dewey fake pouted.
Webby once again laughed and they headed into the theater, Dewey's arm around Webby.
As they got their seats, Webby noticed someone familiar entering the movie. Julia Ducker! Webby thought to herself. Julia was the slut of the school, always manipulating any boy into liking her. Well, any except Dewey that is. And there she was with her girls and they were whispering about something. Julia pointed her finger right where Dewey and Webby were sitting. She strutted up and sat in the seat, right. next. to. Dewey. She was about to go full donkey kong shit on Julia, but, Dewey wrapped his arm around Webby and held her close, relaxing her a bit. This isn't so bad, Webby thought.
The movie was going well so far. Julia had tried to flirt with Dewey a few times, but he was too entangled in the movie to pay attention. But, when a scary scene came, Julia clutched on to Dewey's arm like she was hanging on for dear life. This enraged Webby. She could not take it anymore. All the shameless flirting, twirling of the hair, and whatever the other girls would do to Dewey, she would not ignore it anymore! She lunged onto Julia and started fighting her. Yes, she started freaking fighting her in the middle of a movie theater .
"How dare you! Have you no shame! I'll blast your ass to hell and back!" Those were just a few things Webby had said to Julia as she proceeded to fight her.
Dewey ended up having to break the two apart, Julia calling Webby a "crazy bitch". Then, security ended having to kick them out. Julia had given Dewey her number before she left, which he took and ripped up. The ride back to the mansion was silent for the two, except for Dewey holding Webby's hand tight.
"Why are you guys back so early, I thought your movie didn't end till eight?" Huey said as they walked in the door.
"Webby got us kicked out," Dewey replied back.
Huey just nodded as Dewey and Webby headed for their separate rooms. Webby was just doodling in her notebook an hour later when Dewey came in and sat down on her bed.
"Why did you fight her?" Dewey said in the most sincere way possible, holding her hand.
"Didn't you see her? She was all over you and I just don't know, recently on our dates, a lot of girls have been flirting with you, and it's like they think I'm not even there, and they just don't understand that you're mine, and," Webby was cut off by Dewey silencing her with a kiss.
"Webby, I'm yours. I'm no other girl's man, I'm yours, and I will always be yours," Dewey said with a heartfelt smile.
"You bet you're mine, doofus."
"I'm your doofus."
