"Makenzie (Mack) POV"

"Did u just say we were moving?" I was thinking to myself. I had to have heard her wrong. We cant be moving I just became a senior. I was suppose to go to prom with Derek. She has to be messing with me.

"Actually I did. Your dad got reassigned to Miami and we have to leave within a week." my mother said in a stern voice. She patted my shoulders and walked away.

I can't fucking believe this. They are seriously making me leave my entire life and go to Miami. Its my senior year why are they making me move. This is bullshit. I walked back to my bedroom and jumped into my big bed. I grabbed my iPhone and called my best friend Catalayah.

C-Hello?

M-Cat you won't believe what just happened.

C-This sounds bad what happened? Does Derek need to die?

M- What? No my parents are making me move to Miami. We have to be gone bye the end of the week. I have to leave my whole life behind. (I swear I was on the edge of bursting out in tears)

C-THEY ARE WHAT!!!!!!! U CANT LEAVE WE WERE SUPPOSE TO GRADUATE TOGETHER AND U AND DEREK WERE SUPPOSE TO GO TO PROM.

M- IKR my fucking family sucks. I have to go my mom is making me go with her to buy boxes. I'll call u later.

C- Okay Mack, and don't forget we are all here for you, we'll even help you u pack.

M- Thanks Cat your the bestest friend ever.

I hung up the phone and walked downstairs to go with my mom. While we were in the car I didn't say a word. I had nothing to say. Her and my dad were ruining my life. I grew up in Chicago. I met Cat when I was like four and we were friends since. Along the way I met my other best friends, Alison, Rachel, Nichole, Tanya, Terrance, and Andre. I also met my boyfriend Derek. We've been together since freshmen year. I hate my parents for doing this. Why me?????
