JOHNNY stood in awe, his gaze fixed on the beautiful girl laughing and chatting with his sisters and cousins. How were they so close? Their bond was so strong that they could easily be mistaken for sisters.
"John!" Millie's voice broke through his thoughts, drawing his attention back to the present moment.
"Meet Mackenzie Wolfhard, the youngest sister of the Wolfhards," Millie introduced, her eyes glancing at John, noticing his captivated expression, and then shifting to Kenz with a faint smile.
John observed the scene unfolding before him, two young teens meeting each other awkwardly for the first time. He couldn't help but marvel at the closeness between his siblings and their cousin, wondering what made their bond so special.
As the boys watched from the sidelines, the interaction between his sisters and Kenzie revealed a dynamic filled with laughter, teasing, and genuine affection. It was a sight to behold, one that left John both intrigued and envious of the connection they shared.
The boys stood back, witnessing the encounter between the two teens unfold with a mix of curiosity and amusement, the dynamic between the Brown brothers adding an additional layer of intrigue to the scene.
"Okay, so, Kenzie, I just wanna ask you... what are you wearing?" Jaeden interjected, his protective instincts kicking in as he scrutinized his little sister's outfit, his disapproval evident in his tone.
"Uhmm... clothes?" Lila chimed in, coming to Kenzie's rescue and diverting the attention away from her friend's attire.
"It's... too revealing for your age," Jaeden stated firmly, crossing his arms in front of his chest as he voiced his concerns.
"God, you guys are absurd! Let her wear the clothes she wants to wear. All of you are being a pain in the ass," Millie complained, coming to Kenzie's defense and wrapping an arm around her friend.
Finn narrowed his eyes at Millie's remark, pointing a finger in her direction. "You're the pain in the ass," he retorted, the playful banter between them adding a light-hearted touch to the conversation.
"I am not," Millie shot back defiantly, her tone laced with amusement as she met Finn's gaze head-on.
"Yes, you are," Finn insisted, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he engaged in the playful exchange with Millie.
"Quit it, okay! God gracious, you guys are confusing. One minute you're cuddling, then the next minute you're fighting. It's frustrating, you know," Grace interjected, her frustration evident in her voice as she attempted to diffuse the tension between her siblings and cousins.
"You guys look cute," Gaten remarked, offering a light-hearted comment in an attempt to lighten the mood, though his words only seemed to add fuel to the fire as Grace shot him a glare in response.
"They don't! Stop lying, cupcake. We don't want them to assume things, now do we!?" Grace retorted, her annoyance palpable as she addressed Gaten with a hint of exasperation.
"Huh... nice nickname you got there, Gaten..." Johnny laughed, earning a slap from Grace and a disapproving glare from his other sisters.
"Thanks, John, but can you remove your hands from Kenzie's shoulder?" Gaten instructed, narrowing his eyes at John, who complied by slumping his shoulders in response.
"Okay, who wants to eat?! It's getting late," Grace announced, breaking the tension and steering the conversation in a new direction as she made her way towards the door.
"Yass! Food!" Sadie exclaimed excitedly, her enthusiasm infectious as she eagerly anticipated the impending meal.
"The love of my life," Millie murmured under her breath, her words catching Finn's attention as he pouted playfully in response to her affectionate remark.
