[Chapter 23: Secrets Reveal]

▶Reader's Perspective

Today is Monday, which means, there is school and when we say school, there is something we are all familiar with...boredom.

"Good morning, (Name)! How's your leg?" Mira ask, as soon as I step inside of the classroom. It's just the two of us here.

Just...the two...of us..

"It's so early in the morning and you're asking me that?" I ask her, she smiled at me sheepsihly, while rubbing the back of her head.

"T-that's what friends are for, right? They care for each other and I care about you too! N-not in a lover way! B-but in a friendly way!! D-don't get any idea, okay?!" She rambled on.

I laugh and went to my desk. "Pfft, whatever floats your boat." I said with a shrug and placed my bag under my desk.

"Where's Zack?" I ask while grabbing a stash of pocky from my bag.

"I don't know actually. But I do know that he is running late.." Mira replied.

"Really, huh?" I said, trailing off, too focus on opening my pocky.

"Where's Xian? The two of you always go to school together, along with Kanazari and Fabian." Mira said and sat down in front of me, taking one chocolate stick of deliciousness from the tiny box, I am holding.

"Hey!!" I shout from what she did, which she only laughed and wink at me.

"But anyways, Xian and the other two are out doing something that I don't even know, even my Aunt won't tell me."

"Maybe they are busy handling their business, since the three are the next heir to their parent's company." Mira said, shocking me in the process that I even choke on my pocky.

"—cough—H-how—cough—d-did you know all about that?" I choke out.

"A-are you okay?! You need some water?!" She ask, starting to get panic.

"No, it's alright! Just answer my question." I replied. My cough soon wore off and Mira sighed in relief.

"Well...I was really curious of the three, so I tried to search them on the internet. And..I guess they all have one, since I found a website about the Black, Sakashima and Indijacoix Family. I learned that Fabian's family owns a very large company in America, he is very skilled at fighting and is a 'weapon master' as what it was said on the website, and actually, that's all I read because there's nothing on his profile anymore." Mira finished saying with a shrug.

"All you said is right." I commented and put a pocky on my mouth and started nibbling it.

"Next is Xian. His family owns a large company as well, but the country was unknown. And...that's all, though." She said and grab a pocky on the box and put it in her mouth.

"Well, next is Kanazari. As we all know, Kanazari owns a large company for beauty products and fashionable clothes and is very famous around the world. But, what made me confuse, is that I can't find anything about his parents. Why?" She ask. I shrug as I eat the last piece of pocky on the box.

"I don't know either. Even though we are cousins, I have never known his parents in my whole life." I lied. I just don't want to tell her about his parents, it sends shivers down my spine.

"All of us have their own privacy, so why not we focus on other things other than them. Ok—"

"I also found yours." She blurted, making me choke on my saliva.

"Y-you did..?" I cough.

Mira nodded in response. My face became serious and my eyes went emotionless, making Mira scared at my expression.

"Speak." I stated bluntly.

I hear her gulp. "W-well, I read a-about y-you being the princess o-of (Country Name), b-but I didn't believe it since...ya know...ummm..h-how do we say this..." She stared at me from head to toe.

"You kinda look like a delinquent because of how you act..no offense. M-maybe you ARE a princess but at a well-known gang at your country...right?" She gave me a look that says, 'I's a'ight, dude. You can tell me.'

I gave a sigh and mess up my hair. "I'm not a princess of a gang, Mira." I said, while rolling my eyes. Mira raised her brow in confusion.

"I..I'm a princess of (Country Name), and I will be the next queen when the time I will turn at the age of eighteen.." I said, quietly.

"You're joking, right?" Mira laughed but soon stop when she notice my blunt face.

"Guess not..." I hear her muttered.

"But please, Mira. Don't tell this to anyone. My mom will chop my head off." I pleaded.

Mira just stood there for a second, but then sighed and nodded. I cheered, the last thing I know, I am now hugging Mira. With my head on the crook of her neck, snuggling closer. Both of my arms were tightly wrap around her waist. Mira's hands were both resting on top of my shoulders and her whole body were stiff, obviously shock from being hugged so suddenly.

I just realised that Mira's shorter than me, maybe in my shoulders.

'She's really warm..like a kotatsu(correct me).' I thought as I keep hugging her.

"Umm..."

"Hey, sorry I'm la—what the?" I hear Zack said, when he entered the classroom.

▶Third Person's PoV

Zack was jealous, he felt his heart break when he saw (Name) hugging Mira. He wanted (Name) to hug him, only him and not Mira. He didn't know why, though.

He's supposed to be with Mira, but why didn't he felt the same feeling when she's around. The way he stared at her, not all lovey-dovey anymore but more of a friendly stare.

When (Name)'s around, though. He felt that feeling when Mira's around, he's heart always beats faster than lightning, he's face became red and hot and his hands shake when (Name) talks to him.

"Oi, you've been standing there for one minute now, Zack." Zack snap back into reality when a female voice called him. He soon realised it was (Name).

'Tsk, there it goes again!' Zack angrily thought. His heart begins to beat faster, a blush coating his cheeks and his hands began shaking like crazy.

"Hey, you feeling a'ight? You seem a bit red." She commented and placed the back of her palm on Zack's forehead.

Zack became more flustered when (Name)'s hand touched his forehead. (Name) retreated her hand, much to Zack's dismay.

"You're not alright, Zack. I think you should see the school nurse." (Name) told Zack.

Meanwhile, with Mira, she was sitting on her seat, listening to the two. She didn't know why she had so much hatred inside of her when she saw (Name) talking with someone else.

She shook the hatred off of her and stood up from her seat. She walk to her two friends who were chatting.

"Hey, Zack. Good morning." Mira greeted with a smile. Zack stop talking and smiled at her.

"Good morning to you too, Mira!" He exclaimed.

"You seem feeling better." (Name) said, out of nowhere.

"See? I told ya, I'm fine. No need to worry about it." Zack laugh, Mira just smiled while (Name) snorted and rolled her eyes.

I'm really sorry if this is so short and I'm sorry if you confessed who you really are to Mira, so quickly. I tried to make it long, but I had Writer's Block. I'm really sorry guys.
