Chapter 2

Vince POV
I just finished dinner I made chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, and biscuits I called everybody downstairs and they each came down one by one we made our plates and I thought it would be a good time to tell the kids about their new sister

"Ok kids I have to tell you something" I say

"What is it?" Tia asked

"You guys have another sister her name is Laila" I said

"How old is she?" Faith asked

"14 but she's about to be 15"

"When can we meet her?"

"I'm a couple of days"

"Oh cool" they all say except

We finished dinner and it was time for bed. so we sent the kids off to brush there teeth and stuff then we went to bed. But we didn't go to sleep we talked.

"Why didn't you tell the kids that your pregnant?" I asked Tamar

"Well I thought I would do it when Laila gets here"

"Good idea but anyways goodnight"

"Goodnight I love you" she said

"I love you too" I said then we went to sleep

I woke up at around 6 and Tamar was still asleep so I got up and did my morning routine I had to be at court today so I had to hurry up I was done in about 15 minutes so I got in my car and drove to the court house and waited until it was my turn when it was I went in and seen Mariah Laila's mom and her boyfriend

"All rise for the honorable judge joe Mathis"

"This is the case of Herbert vs price" judge Mathis said

"Mr Herbert you want to get full custody of your daughter Laila right?" He asked

"Yes sir"

"Why do you want full custody?"

"Because sir her mother and boyfriend has been abusing her and they abuse alcohol and drugs"

So after that the court goes on and I ended up getting full custody while Mariah and her boyfriend got 15 years in prison so I signed the papers and they told me that I had to get Laila tomorrow morning I said ok sand left I got home at around 10 I walked to my room and Tamar was still asleep so I decided to wake her up to tell her the good news

"Babe" I said kissing her neck

"Hmm" she said

"Baby wake up" I said

"I'm up I'm up I'm up" she said sitting up

"Good because I have some good new to share"

"What is it" she said half way asleep

"I got full custody" I said happily

"That's great babe" she said

"I know I can't wait for you guys to meet her"

"We can't wait to meet her too but anyways I'm going back to sleep" she said laying back down

"Ok baby" I kissed her on cheek then went downstairs to my man cave and just chill until The kids came back to school
