Today I'm going to pick up Laila I super excited to meet her and I'm sure everyone is too but everyone was still asleep because it was like 6:00 in the morning so I put on a blue sweater with a plaid shirt under it with some jeans and headed to go get her

I got there in like 30 minutes and went inside the house to meet her social worker she was standing there with Laila
Me- "hi ms. Turner"
Ms. Turner- "hello mr.herbert"
Me- "hey Laila"
Laila- "hi"
MT- "ok mr.herbert every thing is good to go so you guys will be on your way but first you gotta sign the papers"
Me- "ok *signs the papers*"
MT- "ok good thank you that's all see you guys *waves bye and walks out*"
Me and Laila- "bye"
Me- "ok let's go"
We walked to the car I opened the door for her then got in the car it was silent for about 10 minutes when I decided to start a conversation
Me- "so tell me about yourself"
Laila- "well I'm 14 my favorite color is blue and red I love pizza and I love to sing and dance my favorite singer is Tamar Braxton and I would really love to meet her one day"
Me- "well I guess it's your lucky day because she's my wife"
Laila- "really?!?"
Me- " *laughs* yeah and she can't wait to meet you"
Laila- "I can't wait to meet her but enough about me what about you?"
Me- "well I'm married to Tamar Braxton I have 3 other kids 1 one is not mines but I still treat her like mines that's it"
Laila- " what are your other kids name"
Me- "faith she is 18 and Tia she is 15 and Logan is 8"
Laila- "are they nice?"
Me- " Yeah"
We continued our conversation as got home in about 15 minutes and got out I got her bags and I unlocked the house I showed her around then put her bags in her room
Me- "so how do you like it"
Laila- "I love it"
Me- "I'm glad you do but are you ready to meet everyone"
Laila- "yes but can I meet the kids first?
Me- "yeah but first let's go to the living room I will text them to come down"
Laila- "ok"
We went downstairs and sat on the couch I texted the kids to come down and they replied with a "ok" 2 minuets later they come down all together and sat on the other couch
Me- "ok kids this is Laila"
Laila- "hi it's nice to meet y'all"
Faith- "nice to meet you too I'm faith"
Tia- "I'm Tia"
Logan- "I'm Logan"
Me- " kids where is your mother?"
Tia- "she had a interview today"
Faith- "yeah she should be back in a minute"
As soon as she said that Tamar walks through the door
Tamar- "where is everyone?"
Me- " in the living room"
"Ok" she said coming into the living room and sitting beside Tia
Me- "Tamar this is Laila"
Tamar- "hi it's nice to meet you pumpkin"
Laila- "nice to meet you to I'm such a big fan"
Tamar- "Aww what's your favorite song of mines"
Laila- "I love pieces"
Me- "Tamar can I talk to you for a minute?"
Tamar- "Yeah sure"
We got up and went into the kitchen
Tamar- "what's up"
Me- " I think it's time to tell the kids"
Tamar- "really? I'm not sure if I should"
Me- "why not?"
Tamar- "I'm just nervous that's all"
Me- "babe everything will be fine"
Tamar- "ok fine I will tell them"
Me- "ok let's go"
We went back in the living room and the kids were laughing and talking
Me- " guys we have something to tell you"
Logan- "what?"
Me- babe *looks at tamar*
Tamar-???
