The sound of someone snoring wakes me up. I stir a little, Oli's arm is wrapped around me protectively. I look around at the other boys. Matt and Jordan are both crammed onto one laid out futon, while Kean is star-fished and tangled in a blanket on the other futon.

"Oli," I nudge him. He grumbles and moves around, shifting our position on the couch. "Wake up, sleepy head."

"I'm awake," he mumbles. "Jordan's bloody snoring woke me."

I laugh, "it woke me up too." I move my body so I can look down at Oli, his hair messy and curly. I run my hand through it. What exactly were we? Friends with benefits? I shook my head. I needed to give it time, we had a lot of things to learn about each other before we could be together, together.

He smiled up at me, the corners of his eyes crinkling up slightly. I run my thumb over his tattoos, "did it hurt a lot to get these?"

Oli shrugged, "yeah, but they're small so it lasted a few minutes. The ones on my neck are another story, those fuckers hurt for a week or two after."

I look at the roses coming up from the collar of Oli's shirt. The red has faded a little but the outline is still clear, "I love them. I want a chest piece."

Oli raised an eyebrow, "really?"

I nodded, "I actually want my whole body covered in tattoos, but I'll work my way there."

"Tattoos suit you," Oli nodded. I sat up and climbed off Oli. I checked my phone before going to the kitchen. Nick had texted me last night. He wanted to finish up the first part of the project today. The whole finished project is due in a week, but the interview papers needed to be turned in on Monday.

It was weird having to spend time with Nick, especially at his house. His father and step mother welcomed me into the home like we were still best friends. I was more than happy to find out his older brother had moved out, I don't think I would have been able to be in that house if he was still there.

I could hear Oli waking everyone else up. I pulled out pancake mix and mixing bowl. Last night I had learned just how much those boys eat, so I poured in a generous amount of pancake mix. Oli padded into the kitchen. He had on a pair of black sweats and a tee shirt.

"That smells good," Oli said leaning against the counter. He crossed his arms over his chest, I could tell he was thinking hard about something. Last time he had that look on his face he has figured out what had happened at the party that night. It was a horrible and traumatic night. It changed my life. I went from having friends and a boyfriend, but instead of being left alone the exact opposite happened. Vicious rumors spread about me, and Nick did nothing to disprove them; he even fed the fire. Only Nick, his brother, and I really know what happened that night. Even though Nick refused to believe me.

Oli opened his mouth but didn't say anything, he looked frustrated. "Do you have any plans today?"

"I'm not sure yet. At some point I have to go over to Nick's to finish the first part of the project," I flip a pancake and pour more batter on the pan.

"We should have another movie night with the guys," Oli walls over and helps me cook.

"Yeah, I would love that," I handed Oli the spatula while I grabbed plates. "I've been pretty lonely since Ronnie left."

"Well, we all had a great fucking time and I wouldn't mind doing that again," Oli smiled. The frustration was completely gone. "I wanna take you out on a date again."

I smiled and set plates out, "we should go out to eat on Friday."

"That's what I was thinking, are there any good place around here?"
