"Miss kendra, your dad wants to see you"
Kendra who was about to take a sip of her vodka froze in shock.
"He's home?" She asked the short pixie faced maid."Yes" the maid said "and he's really mad,".
Kendra rolled her eyes,"where's he?"
"In the library"* * *
Kendra opened the door to the magnificent library and walked in. Her dad had his bald head buried in his computer.
" hey dad" she said nonchalantly. Her father looked at her
.
Yeah, he's pissed, she thought.
"I have just one question to ask young lady, what is happening in my house?"
Kendra lifted her small shoulders in a shrug then moved some strands of glossy blond hair away from her face
" I'm having a party"
"Without my consent?" Mr Job asked.
She rolled her eyes
" come on dad, it's no big deal "
Mr Job took a deep breath and tried to calm down, but he glanced at his daughter's hand and got mad again
" what's that you're holding?""A glass of vodka?"
"Kendra you do realize you're 17, right?"
"So?"
"so you're underaged!"he roared.
" come on dad! This is the 21st century, we don't follow those ancient rules anymore. I can drink and do whatever I want to do despite my age."
" this is the peak of your misbehavior, young lady " Mr Job said".
" its not like you'll do anything about it anyway" kendra mumbled
" oh, I won't spare you this time. I'm sending you to old miss Walter's house"
Kendra's delicate brows came together in a frown
" isn't that the house that is rumored to be haunted by ghosts? "
Mr Job smiled slyly
"that is the one"
Kendra burst into laughter, but when she saw the look on her father's face, she stopped and asked
" you're joking, right?"
He shook his bald head
" I am not"
Realizing how serious he is, she cried in horror
"You can't take me to a haunted house!"
"You have two options,Kendra. It's either you be a good girl and do as you're told, or I take your phone, iPad and laptop away and you still do as you're told, so choose wisely my dear"
" but the summer just started! What will happen to all my plans?!"
Mr Job shook his bald head st his daughter.
" the only thing you're good at planning is how to be nasty to people, you have to learn some good manners, you know."
Kendra glared at him, her tears flowing freely
"I hate you, dad!" She screamed "I hate you for ruining my life!"
