The work went a lot faster with Levi helping me and he made the sticks absolutely spotless. Once we were finished we sat there in silence for a while. Soon there were no flames left, reduced to red embers.

Levi began to stand, my arm shot up and grabbed his sleeve "stay just a little longer"

I blushed realizing what I had just said and done, letting go as quickly as I could.

"W-whatever" Levi said looking away as he squatted back down. I stared intently at the embers wishing I hadn't just done that and wondering why he did what I asked.

What does this brat think he's doing asking me to stay, and what am I doing listening to him!?

"Moron"

I whispered under my breath.

After a while of more silence even the embers died out, leaving us in darkness.

"Oi"

I called, seemingly surprising Eren out of a trance.

"It's been a long day, and it'll probably be a long one again tomorrow you should get some sleep, you are just a kid after all..."

"I-I am not! I'm only one grade behind you!" Eren replied trying to keep from being embarrassed.

"-at right, heh..." I said standing up,

"Well suit yourself but, I'm going to bed!"

He made a face at me as a walked , towards my tent which just happened to be right next to his.
