finn and (y/n) have been best friends for 5 years now. they met in the 8th grade and stayed close throughout high school.
due to his occupation, he needed a few close friends to keep him company that he knew were real friends.
as high school came to an end, finn and (y/n) decided to go on their senior trip together. (y/n) had always wanted to go to greece, finn had never been so that's where they decided to go.
the plane ride was pretty typical: pretzels, soda, gum, and free movies. finn didn't want to get very expensive tickets but also didn't want the back so they got double seats in the middle of the plane. (is that second class?? idk)
when the plane landed in greece, the two late teens were ecstatic. they were excited to jump out of their seats and run to the beach but... it's an airport.
they waited for everyone in front of them to depart and then get their bags. they wheeled the bags to the front of the airport to catch the tram. they practically missed it due to a group of fans surrounding the two. (y/n)'s breathing was extra fast when more and more fans would surround then blocking their way of the whole sidewalk. finn's game grew and grew the older he got, it was good and bad at the same time.
once they finally put their bags away and sat on the tram, they could see people 'sneak' pictures of finn, probably of (y/n) too. social media's gonna ask about her again. the two are just friends, says (y/n) but fans think otherwise. and finn does too.
he's always wanted to tell (y/n) he likes her but he didn't think she felt the same way. but she did. she was just scared.
once he posted a picture of them for her birthday and he had to delete it only two hours later because of the comments and fan accounts. he wouldn't mind but they were turning a simple picture into a social media explosion. now the only online thing they do is like each other's pictures.
when the tram stopped they thought they could simply walk out together but, the press got in the way. the outside of the bus was crawling with men and women with flashing cameras. (y/n)'s breathing started to speed up anxiously, finn rubbed her leg lightly to calm her down, he hated it too.
they got off at different times, tipping the bus driver to stay for a few extra minutes for the two teens to get out. (y/n) got out first, going to her room. finn went in about five minutes later, thanking the driver and then telling the worker at the front desk what was going on.
once he got to the room (y/n) was already in, he threw his stuff to the side and threw his self onto the bed. he rolled over noticing (y/n) was already laying in it in her phone. he sat up a bit and looked around.
