Chapter 2: HighSchool

I started to unpack my bags, it was 7:00 and the sun was setting over the bare trees. Winter was coming and it was the only thing I was happy about. Back in Florida we never had snow, only if we were lucky. I took out my shirts and pants and hats and put them in the dresser. All of a sudden i hear birds fly up from the trees, they sounded like they were screaming in fear. I quickly looked out the window and saw bright brown eyes in the edge of the woods. Wolf. The wolf was so amazing, so strong looking. I just kept staring at the wolfs eyes, and I just couldn't look away. Then I heard a distant howl and the wolf turned and ran back into the trees. I was kinda sad that the wolf left. I've just been so alone, and I miss my friends.

I woke up the next morning and took a shower and got dressed, I also couldn't help but do my hair. It was my first day of school, so I had to make a good impression. "Skylar! Come on! I'm ready to go!" My dad called from downstairs. "One second dad!" I quickly but on my locket with my best friends picture in it and I grabbed my jacket and wen down stairs. "Ready for school sky?" My dad said with a big smile on his face. "Ready as I'll ever be," I replied back.

We drove up to the highschool were teens crowded the front of the school as they greet last year students and best friends. I saw one girl with purple hair and piercings on her bottom lip. And another girl with so much make up it looked like she was trying to be a rainbow. "Have a good day sky" my dad held my Han for a second and let me go.
