As the remaining members of bangtan still stood, watching them leave, Tae and Jungkook clambered into the back of a Taxi, instructing the driver to go to the hotel they were currently staying at.
"K-kookie... what if we've made a big mistake..." Taehyung began, eyes beginning to well up as he stared at the back of the driver's seat. Jungkook tilted Taehyung's chin towards him, and with teary eyes yet a loving expression nevertheless, he spoke gently,
"Listen Tae Tae, it'll be ok... I promise... I'll make it right..." while pulling the older into his warm embrace. Within a few minutes, Jungkook realised Taehyung had managed to fall asleep in his arms. I'm so sorry... Jungkook thought, I shouldn't have done this to you...
The taxi abruptly stopped at their destination, while the younger payed the driver and carried the other male out bridal style, Taehyung's arms were wrapped tightly around Jungkook's neck. Still sleeping in the grasp of the younger.
So peaceful... my little kitten... I'll make this up to you... I promise...
As Jungkook checked himself (and Taehyung) in, he made his way to their shared room, before gently placing the older on the bed. Slightly exhausted, Jungkook sat down beside him, just looking at the sleeping older male.
"Things aren't easy for us, huh," Jungkook spoke half-heartedly, noticeably tearing up. He carefully caressed the older's pale cheeks, before running his hands through the brunette's locks. "I'll always love you Kim Taehyung," The younger began, "no matter what, I'll stand by you, by us." It was then a single tear escaped the eyes that would only look at Taehyung, when the older opened his eyes slowly, whispering,
"And I'll never, ever stop loving you. I don't care if the whole world hates us, I'll stand by you... for as long as it takes..."
By this time, both males were sobbing in each others' embrace, reminding each other how much they cared for one another, before subtly drifting off to sleep, bodies interlocked in an ever-lasting bond...
