I couldn't sleep that night. My thoughts just kept going to what the captain asked me if I join the Drifters. Honestly, I don't even know myself. I was finally gonna try to sleep when I got a phone call. I checked my phone and it was Liam. I was SOOOOO angry that he just ran off with Lexie like a coward that I just wanna kill him! But I'll just stay calm and answer for know.

"Hey what's up?" I asked through the phone.

"Umm well first things first, I'm sorry I ran off on you with Lexie"

"Oh! Know you apoli-"

"Okay Okay!!! Know I need to ask you a question....Are you really an alien?"

"Uuhhhhh, why are you asking?"

"Cause you said it!"

"When?!?"

"To the captain!"

"How do you know about that?!?"

"Cause I was there when you said it!"

No he wasn't! Wait.....Actually when I think about it.....

~Flashback~

"You would be very useful and powerful and you would start, blah blah blah blah" I began to doze off while the captain was speaking. I started to look around and behind the captain was the team. I didn't recognize anyone but there was a guy who looked quiet familiar.....

~End of Flashback~

"You were the guy in the team!!!!!!"

"Yeah! And I'm just saying that you should join The Drifters. You would save and help lots of people and become a hero! You would help a lot"

"Okay, I'll think about it, know gotta go, I need to sleep"

"Ok, bye good night"

"Bye!"

I hanged up and later back on my bed.

~Dream~

"Captain I don't think we can make it!!! I yelled from the other side of the battle field. Back at my plant there was a war between types of aliens. It was between my kind and the deadly aliens.

"Yes we can!!!! Keep fighting and don't think about it!!!! CHARGEEEE!!!!!" He Yelled leading a pack of aliens behind him (our type). Everyone fought with all their pride and strength but it just wasn't enough.

"PAIGE!!!" Mary yelled. Mary was my child hood friend. I've known her since I was a baby. We were inseparable.

"MARY-!!!" I Yelled form behind her. She jumped in front of a bullet for me. It couldn't have gotten worse than that. She fell on the ground and began to bleed. "DAMN YOU!!!!" I Yelled shooting the other alien down. I looked down and knelt down to Mary.

"MARY NO NO NO!!!! PLEASE DONT DIE!!! EVERYTHING GOING TO BE JUST FINE AS LONG AS YOU KEEP BREATHING." I Yelled pushing her form side to side keeping her awake.

"Paige.....Listen" She murmured.

"No don't talk!!!! Save your energy!!!" I Yelled

"Sshhhhhh....Just keep fighting.......Don't worry.....we'll wiiiinnnnnnnm...." She Said quietly until she closed her eyes and took her final breath.

I stood there emotionless. I started at her body for a while. I don't now how long. Seconds. Minutes. Hours. I know one thing and that's that I was staring at her body. Lifeless body. At one point I finally stood up and the rest I don't remember. Until I woke up in a hospital bed and read the top of a newspaper and it said, "The Last Surviver of the War!!!"
I read it a bit more and I figured out I was the last surviver of the war. I looked up at the newspaper and saw Mary standing right in front of me. A live.

"H-Hi Mar-"

"Why did you leave me? Why did you leave? You let me die, WHY!?!?!!" She yelled jumping on top of me and punching me.

"NO STOP!! PLEASE I DIDNT MEAN IT!! PLEASE!"

~End of Dream~

"Paige, Wake up!!!!!!" A girl yelled shaking me in my bed. It was Lexie.

"AAAHHHH! Oh Lexie it's just you. Wh-What are you doing here?" I Said sitting up.

"You have to meet Captain Kirk! Now get up and get Cosmo!" She said.

"Wait wait wait. How do you know about all that?!" I Yelled waking up completely.

"Oh sorry! I didn't tell you. I'm in one of the teams of the Drifters!" She said cheerfully handing over a sleepy Cosmo.

"Really!?! Why didn't you tell me!!" I Said grabbing Cosmo.

"It's that you were new to this school and I didn't want to tell you, besides your an alien!" She said opening the doors.

"I guess you right...." We continued talking until we were in Central Park.
