New Beginnings (A Harry Potter Story)

Chapter 1: The Letter

Harry is awaken by the sound of talking, he gets out of his bed and walks out of his room. "Its coming from Ron's room, either way I gotta go check in him" Harry mumbles to himself while walking to Ron's room. Harry listens to the talking beside the door,

"Are you feeling better?"

"Well I am now"

"Ron!"

"Heh"

"You should be getting rest Ron I'll be back with your breakfast"

"Ow Hermione!"

"Oh! Sorry Ron!"

"Ow it's fine but it's bleeding again"

"Okay wait I'm going to bring bandaids"

"Okay"

Harry hears foots steps approaching the door and Harry looks around the spots something that stands off on the wall and grabs at it, then his invisibility cloak is placed over him.

Once Hermione exits Ron's room Harry waits until she walks far away till he reveals him self to her "Oh Harry I didn't see you there you really scare me when you do that!" Hermione says "Sorry but how is Ron I heard you guys a bit while I was walking down the hall" Harry says

"He's fine but Harry where are the bandaids?" Hermione asks "You guys moved in here about a month so you should know by know" Harry says "Yea but this is your parents old house and we all live here plus Ginny had it last and I don't know where she put it" Hermione says

"Don't worry I'll go ask her" Harry says as he walks away, Harry walks down to Ginny's room and knocks the door "Ginny?" No one answers, "Ginny!" Harry yells out. Harry then opens the door but then sees Ginny changing "Harry out!" Ginny yells while throwing stuff at him. "Sorry!" Harry says while closing the door fast.

Harry waits for a long time till Ginny says she is done changing "Now you may come in" Ginny says while opening the door. "Sorry Ginny I called your name but I didn't hear any answer" "Its fine" "Ginny do you know where the bandaids are?" Harry asks "I put them in Ron's room last time since he was injured" Ginny says.

"Okay" Harry says while closing the door, he walks down the hall and soon hears Hermione and Ron talking

"Ron I think I found it"

"Please be gental this time"

"Ron the tighter it is put on the less blood comes out"

"Hermione!"

"I don't care Ron I only care for you getting better!"

"Oh so now you care"

"Ron do you want to get better or not"

"Not"

"Ron! I told you not to do that when I am trying to help you"

"Well why don't you use magic!"

"I dont want to rely one on magic!"

"What a waste of time"

"Fine if it is a waist then I'll leave you a lone and Harry or Ginny can do it!"

Harry hears foot steps come to the door

"Mione I didn't mean it like that!" Ron yells out.

Hermione opens the door and sees Harry "Harry please go finish it" Hermione says as she walk to her room.

Harry walks to Ron's and Ron starts talking right away "Harry can you please help me" "Sorry Ron but I don't know how to put it on" Harry says, "Use magic!" "Oh yeah" Harry says as he takes out his wand, "Tregeo" Bit by bit Ron's arm mends and heals "But Ron you gotta stay in bed for one day"

"And why would I do that?" Ron asks as he gets up, "Ron you know Hermione would say the same.." "Harry!" A voice from a distance yells out "That sounded like Hermione" Ron says as he get up with his wand.

Both boys run downstairs to Hermione "Hermione what's going on?" They ask "Hermione hands Harry a letter for him to read, "So it was a letter this whole time?" Ron asks. "Not just a letter! look who's it from.

Harry reads who it's from and looks up to them "Its from Andromeda", "Then read it!" Ron says,

"Dear Harry Potter,

Harry if you remember before my daughter and son In law passed away they told me that you would be the god father of Edward (Teddy), so if you can come by later on to get him that would be great.

Sincerely,
                 Andromeda."

At that moment Harry has a flash back of what Lupin told him

"You'll be the god father?"

"M-me?"

"Yes, you of course - Dora quite agrees no one better-"

"I- yeah- blimey"
