"Hey, Jimin-ah~you have not left? Tae asked after returning from the washroom. Jimin took a glance at the clock on the wall and the time was almost half past 8.00 p.m. "Shit! I ve almost forget that I have a meeting today at 8.00 o'clock" Jimin flustered as he saved whatever work he was doing before shutting down his P.C. "Tae, thanks for reminding me! I gotta go, in a rush. I will text you later tonight!" Tae stared blankly before bidding goodbye to Jimin. "Did I remind him something?" Tae thought to himself while shaking his head in puzzle.
Jimin picked his mobile and dialled Jungkook's number that he had barely manage to save this morning at work. "Hey, Jungkook! I am sorry that I ve worked till now and almost forget about our meeting, please forgive my absent minded." Jimin apologized few times before the latter broke into laughter on the other end. "Haha, no worry...I was also just about to call you when my phone rang." Jungkook replied making jimin sighed in relief. "Ok, I am now walking towards your office building so shall we meet near the entrance of the building next to the security?" Jungkook asked while making his way towards Jimin's office. "Okay, I will be going there now so see you later!" Jimin answered before ending the call.
As soon as Jimin stepped out of the building, he could vividly see a distinctive figure, tall wearing a black leather jacket standing next to the security office. The figure turned around noticing Jimin and was brimming with smile across his cheeks while raising his hand to hint his presence.
Jimin hastened his steps almost running towards the figure. "Sorry to keep you waiting!" Jimin gasped while trying to catch a deep breathe. "Is okay, I just arrived too." Jungkook revealed his signature bunny smile.
"Okay! So where should we go now?" Jungkook asked. "Hmmm...I know of a place where the restaurant sells very nice and delicious seolleongtang, if you don't mind shall we go there?" Jimin suggested in a casual tone. Despite the latter seems to look younger than him, in fact the truth is that both are of the same age.
"Okay sounds good and is great to have something hot in this chilly weather too!" Jungkook exclaimed in excitement. "Great, let's go!" Both of them exchanged smiles before making their way to the restaurant.
"Anneonghasaeyo!" the owner greeted warmly to them. "Oh, nice to see you again!" the owner said to Jimin. "Yes, same here." Jimin bowed to the owner while they were led towards a seat at the left corner near the cooler where the beer are stored.
"Jungkook, just go ahead and order what you want, it's my treat ok as promised!" Jimin spoke as he passed the menu to jungkook who was sitting opposite him.
"Wow, all looks mouth watering. By the way, have you been here before?"
Jungkook asked while scanning through the menu. "Yeah, previously it was my colleague who brought me here and I find the food not bad too." Jimin said.
"Jungkook, can you drink?" Jimin asked while facing Jungkook who is still looking at the menu. Jungkook looked up when he realised Jimin was apparently staring at him while waiting for his reply which made him slightly tensed.
"Erm, I do just that I am not a good drinker." "Neither do I haha..." Both broke into awkward laughter. "Okay, but is such a waste not ordering any alchohol...don't you think so?" Jimin hinted at Jungkook while the latter simply nodded. In the end, Jimin make the decision to order one bottle.
"Ahhh...I am not sure which to order, why not Jimin shi, could you help recommend?" Jungkook asked. "Okay, sure!" Jimin hesitated before suggesting. "Hmmm...If it's fine for you, I recommend their signature seolleongtang which I had tried previously and is really good, what do you think?"
"Great, then let's just go with what you have suggested..." Jungkook nodded in consensus, "as long as is with you, anything is good..." whispering one last thing which was so soft that Jimin could barely hear.
"Ahjumma, could we have the same dish I had previously and a bottle of soju to be served with chicken feet." Jimin took the initiative and ordered an extra favourite of his to go with the soju ---yes, is chicken feet.
"Okay noted, your food will be served shortly!" the owner took down their order and went into the kitchen before bringing out tray of side dishes and placed it on their table.
After fifteen minutes later, the main dish were served. "Here you go! you may help yourself with the bottle of soju in the cooler, please enjoy the meal!" the owner walked away with a kind smile after serving them.
Jimin reached out the cooler and took out a glass bottle while asserting some strength on the bottle cap with the cap opener before releasing a refreshing "POP!" The gushing sound of soju can be heard when Jimin was pouring into one of the glasses. He handed one to Jungkook before pouring onto the other glass for himself. "Come on, what are you waiting for? Let's dig in while hot!" Jimin exclaimed while opening the drawer and retrieving a metal spoon and pair of chopsticks passing to Jungkook.
"Wow! the food is nice and soup is piping hot." Jungkook commented while covering his mouth that can be seen in action of munching. Jimin merely chuckled after the latter's remark.
About an hour later, the dishes were almost cleared. "Hey, Jungkook let's have a few glass shot and try out this chicken feet!" Jungkook wore the plastic gloves and shyly reached out both hand to take one piece giving to Jimin before taking one for himself. "Y-you c-can just drop the formality with me!" Jimin hicupped after the fourth glasses. By now, it was obviously that Jimin was drunk. The way he sluttered his words and sounded not as somber as before instinctly showed that he was drunk.
"Jimin shi, I think you are drunk..." Jungkook worried and quickly took away his glass before Jimin continued the fifth shot.
"Nggghhh..." Jimin groaned but in some way looked cute to Jungkook. "I am n-not d-r..." before Jimin could finish his words, he leaned forward on the table almost hitting his forehead before jungkook placed his hand underneath.
"Ahjumma, sorry for the mess! We got to leave and I will leave the payment here!" Jungkook bowed apologetically before carrying the drunked jimin who was now slumbering at his back.
"W-here are n--ow, I have not drink my s-oj-u, I want soju! soju..." Jimin mumbled while snuggling his head left and right on Jungkook's back. Jungkook chuckled softly while hearing the older's gibberish. It almost made Jungkook squished his heart when he saw the cute and aegyo state of the older.
They settled down a bit at the bus stop. The time now is almost 11.00 p.m. "I doubt there is going to be any bus coming by now." Jungkook thought while putting the older down gently on the bench next to him while thinking of what to do with this situation.
"I don't know where he stay, should I bring him to my home instead?" he pondered while staring at the flat out drunkard now peacefully laying his head on his shoulders.
"What a cutie mochi!" Jungkook almost blurted out from his mind. After contemplating, he decided to bring Jimin back to his home. He carried him on his back again and immediately flagged a cab on the road leaving the scene.
