Rei Uzumaki, long red hair, blue eyes, cat whiskers - the spitting image of Kushina Uzumaki the fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze's wife.

they were known as the disgrace of the village, they were monsters in the eyes of the villagers. The nine tails attack, it was all their fault, every part of it.

In a nearby play park

Rei lay next to naruto on the floor both staring at the sky both holding hands covered in cuts and bruises. The villagers had recently seen them, Rei gets it alot worse because she never gives a reaction to the abuse she just takes it but naruto always protects her and takes most of her beatings so he comes off a lot worse.

Naruto suddenly got up and yelled

"Rei-chan, we are not weak, we are the Uzumaki twins! Believe it!" whilst holding out his hand for Rei

"onii-san why do they hate us?" Rei replies sad whilst ignoring narutos hand and getting up.

"I don't know... but one day I'm going to become Hokage and they'll acknowledge us and treat us like a somebody and you'll be by my side through it all!"

Rei looked over at all the other kids and saw
Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, Kiba, Shino, Sakura, Hinata and Saskue

Rei began to notice Sakura and Ino staring at her so she looked away and stared down at the floor. She looked up again and saw they weren't there and began to freak out until she turned around and saw Sakura.

"Hey Looser! You're a disgrace as always!" She yelled at Rei with disgust.

"Sakura-chan!" Naruto yelled with love hearts in his eyes almost falling over.

Rei inside felt betrayed it was always like this, her brother was obsessed with Sakura and he didn't even try to stop Sakura when she'd pick on them. Rei was strong but she hid it away because she doesn't want to stand out and be the centre of attention.

A few tears slipped out her eyes, at times like these she just wanted to shut the world out and be alone. The only people that cared for her were the Hokage and Naruto but sometimes even naruto wouldn't be there for her around Sakura. Rei realised she had zoned out and started focussing again only to find Sakura was yelling at her again and calling her names

"Hey Monster! you there?!" Sakura yelled slapping Rei on the cheek which left a bright red mark on her cheek. Rei had enough and just ran, she kept running and she didn't stop.

She was sick with all the abuse, the pain, not only physically but also emotionally. It was hard she noticed she had ran quite far. she was in the middle of a training ground. She scanned the area and saw nobody was there so she went towards a large green tree and began to climb it. Then she plopped down on the second to highest branch and though of something to do, then something came to mind. To sing a song! with no regrets she opened her mouth and began to sing

She stopped singing and felt a soft sigh behind her. She slowly turned around and saw a man with a jounin vest and gravity defiying silver hair.

Rei put a hand over her mouth and with sad eyes said

"I'm so sorry, I'm not supposed to be here I though nobody was here.."

The strange man softly spoke with a closed eye smile

"That's okay, I'm Kakashi Hatake. What's your name?"

"My name? My name is .. Rei, Rei Uzumaki"
Rei said sadly

Kakashi's eyes widened slightly, that was the name Minato and Kushina gave to their daughter. He felt tears brimming but he quickly wiped them away and said

"It's nice to meet you Rei, now why did you come here? I can tell you aren't a ninja"

Rei sighedsadly

"Me and onii-san were relaxing in the park when sakura-chan came over and began calling me a monster and she slapped me, onii-san is in love with Sakura so of course he didn't try to stop her"

Rei wiped the soft tears away from her eyes. Kakashi hesitated for a moment before slinging his arm around her and giving her a hug. He knew what it was like to have no parents and feel sad and lonely. He couldn't stop himself especially since it was his sensei's child and they were very close.

Rei was hugging back until they both stopped hugging and Rei said

"I'm sorry Kakashi-san but I have to go home because I start at the academy tomorrow with onii-san and I don't want to be late. maybe we will see each other around?"

Kakashi nodded and said quick
"Goodluck, and I understand get a good nights sleep" before disappearing

Rei started to walk home before she was suddenly pulled into a dark alley way by a group of villagers. They began cutting her with Kunai's and Shuriken then slapping the wounds and punching her almost to unconciousness before a young boy with raven hair and eyes ran in.

"Hey! Leave her alone!" He said and the villagers obeyed and left.

He walked up the Rei with sad eyes and offered a hand which she took slowly.

"You shouldn't interact with me, the villagers will hate you and hurt you too" Rei spoke quietly

"I won't let them hurt you anymore" The boy spoke "Ive seen what they do, it's horrible!"

"Is not like you can stop them anyway, what's your name?" Rei asked sadly

"Saskue Uchiha and You?" he replied

"Rei, Rei Uzumaki" She smiles sadly as Saskue walked her home.

Little did the two little pre-ninja know that was the start of a great friendship.
