A small gasped escaped his mouth as his body shot up from the bed. He looked around the unfamiliar surroundings and found his belongings were scattered on top of a table across from him. He feel his face as something limit his movement, he touched the hose then pulled it off. Oxygen? A small tank by his left confirmed his thoughts. He looked down to his body, he found his body were draped in someone's shirt. He removed the duvet around him and stared at his legs and bandaged ankle. He reached his right arm and felt there was a bandage too, he tore it open to found a few stitches.
He rose up then carefully walked out of the room with a blade in one hand. He slipped out with cautious glance, trying to be as quiet as possible. He walked to the living room, passing a large mirror by the wall. He looked at his reflection for a mere second, there he realized that he no longer wore the mask.
"Shit." He cursed under his breath.
A sound over the kitchen told him he wasn't alone in the place. He waltzed his way towards the sound, peering against the wall, peeking through the door. There stood a man with his back on him, the guy wore a simple black shirt over his toned body. He slipped right behind him and placed his blade in front of his throat.
"Who are you?" He said in a dangerous yet calm tone.
"I'm the one to ask."
"Really now? Oh i see you rummaged through my stuff, don't you know that every person who laid their hands on my blades has their own bye bye tickets?" Chills run down his spine hearing that.
"Uhm.. maybe i'll pick an easy question first, where are we, hmm? Sweetheart?"
"My apartment, Cheongdam."
"Sure, it is. So! Who are you working for?" He said right by his ears.
"Look, I don't mean any harm. I just happened to found you by my car and i don't mean to intrude when i'm looking through your stuff. I'm just trying to figure out your identity. That's it." He could feel her smiling. She was amused at how this guy was unbothered by the fact that he could cut him right there and then.
"Reason me to trust you then."
"You have no reason to trust me." Hearing the answer, he chuckled and brought down the blade. He placed it down as he leaned on the counter, examining him from the back.
"May I know why and how you got to my car?" He turned around to face the latter.
"Well, let's just say I'm tangled in a mess, then the play of hide and seek started. But unfortunately I got somewhat sedated, so I found your car was the perfect place to hide." He looked up with a smirk. Lucas just stared at him, thinking he should've been afraid but he was more of concerned.
"I guess this was your work?" Pointing to his stitched arm.
"Yeah, I'm a surgeon. You'll need a pain killer for that and your ankle."
"Don't worry I experienced worst."
A rather loud ringtones echoed from the other side of the place, his head shot up immediately.
"Excuse me." He walked back to the bedroom where he left his phone. Lucas followed right behind, examining his every move especially the way he was so lightly walked across his place like a dancer.
"Double shit." The man muttered under his breath.
"What happened?"
"Looks like someone broke to my favorite save house." He explained with his eyes still on the phone whose showing a video of people with guns lurking at a small house.
"Who are you really?"
"The less you know the better, honey."
He suddenly pulled his shirt off, revealing smooth skin and the right amount of muscles. Lucas backed away a little. He couldn't stop looking at the scenery. The latter then turned around and walked up to him. Lucas unconsciously held his breath as they were inches away. He reached out his hand towards his direction but it moved pass him, then he bend his body forward, they are almost nose to nose but he was only reaching for his bag behind him. Then he winked at him. Tease, Lucas thought and shook his head in amusement. He grabbed his spare clothes and changed immediately.
"Wait, are you leaving?" He said after realizing that he didn't want to let him go.
"Duty call."
"Will I see you in the near future?"
"Sweetheart, honey, just continue your life safe and sound. Yesterday and today's incident never happened. You don't know me, I don't know you. Got it?" He said firmly.
"Lucas. I'm Wong Lucas." He said, being stubborn, he didn't want this chance to passed just like that. He might be sounded ridiculous but he couldn't help it. He's somewhat attached to this stranger over the short period they met each other.
"Which part of this you don't understand? You know too much. Believe me its for your own good, baby."
Lucas suddenly pulled him close by the waist and crashed their lips passionately. He deepen the kiss by by grabbing the back of his neck then nibbled on his lower lip. The latter was slowly responding to the kiss with equal passion. He clung to his shoulder like his life depends on it. The kiss weaken his knees. Lucas' hand moved down, he squeezed his waist making him moan to the kiss. He took the chance to slipped his tongue and explore his cavern. They pulled away breathless, he put his forehead against his as he stared to his eyes. Locking gaze, both drowned in each other's presence.
"This, I don't understand. What did you do to me?" Lucas said above a whisper, enough for him to hear. He then lean forward once again to gave him a chaste kiss, a long peck on the lips. The latter felt like he's bursting inside. It was just felt so right, being in his arms.
"Don't go." Lucas said just in front of his lips.
"I can't." He hate how he sounded so exasperated. He moved away from his grasp though reluctantly.
Suddenly his phone rang again but with a different alert this time. He immediately took it from the bag and put it beside his ear. He walked farther from him and had his back against him.
"Yes?"
"Where have you been?! Are you okay? I thought I lost you, god damn it!" The other man yelled over the phone.
"No need to worry, I'm fine. Someone set me up and now some people broke into my save house."
"I know, I'm working on it. Just go back here ASAP!" Then the line went off. He turned around and grabbed his bag.
"I got to go." He walked pass him, but Lucas grabbed his hand and pulled him to his embrace.
"Please don't make it hard for me." He said against his chest. He looked up to his face and pulled him for another kiss. He put his hand on his neck, oh how he was so lost in his touch and sweet lips. He pulled out slowly then grabbed Lucas' right shoulder. His thumb pressed a certain point near his neck.
"What are you..." Lucas couldn't finished his sentence as his consciousness dripped off his body.
"I'm sorry. Goodbye." He whispered as Lucas' body leaned to his embrace losing his strength. His hand hang loose by his side. The man stood there for a little while steadying Lucas' body in his embrace. What happened to me? He wondered. How a kiss could sway him so easily. A kiss was nothing new to him, he often did it just for fun. He often the one who initiate it. But with him, he felt something more. He could feel his sincerity. He shook his head in attempt to let the thoughts out of his head. He knew he'll only bring harm to him and he couldn't risk that. Ever so slowly, he put him on the bed, covering his body with the white duvet. And with a final look, he turned around and left the place.
