Suddenly, you both heard something. A loud explosion or something like that. You and Sonic looked up at the sky.
"W-what is that!?"
"Eggmans ship!" Sonic said protecting you by pulling you behind him
"Eggmans what!? Who is-?"
Suddenly Eggman sended down loads of robots. They were all staring at you and Sonic.
"Ohohoho hello fellow rodent! I'm baaaaaack! It's been a while since we both seen each other, right? I Hope you didn't miss me!"
"I never did Egghead! It was such an amazing day without seeing your Unwashed face!"
"Ugh how I missed your dumb voice" He said unhappy
"Robots attack him!"
Sonic punched you out of the way, to signal you to run away.
"Wait no I'm not leaving you behind Sonic!"
You saw people escaping and also your family escaped with a helicopter, so you didn't need to worry about them. You stood behind Sonic.
He curled up into a ball and throw himself at the robots. However, these robots are stronger than before, he got some deep injurys and ended up being on the ground exhausted. He tried to get up but he was too weak
"NO!" you said and run to him
You kneeled down. He was heavily breathing.
"No..."
"It's ok (Y/n). Run home. Don't get yourself in danger"
"No I can't leave you here"
"You have to. I don't want you to get hurt, (Y/n). Now leave!"
You stood up and faced Eggman
"If you want to reach him, you must go past me first!"
"(Y\N)....,don't..." Sonic said weak on the ground.
You looked at him.
"Sonic, i won't let you die! You're my best friend!"
"I won't let you get hurt!" He said weakly
You ignored him and looked at Eggman.
"Come on Eggman, fight me!"
Sonic still couldn't let you do that. He didn't wanted you to get hurt. So he got up and finish Eggman off, while you've distracted him. He homing attacks the weak spot, and the machines stopped working.
"Yes we did i-"
Sonic looked back at you with a weak smile until he fainted from exhaustion.
"Sonic!!"
You kneel down beside him. Tears began to form. The whole city came to you and Sonic. Polices took Eggman to the jail. And a ambulance came to take Sonic.
"Just, get better,alright?"
"(Y\N),...i-" Sonic tried to say but you put your finger on his mouth. He shouldn't talk when he's hurt
"It's alright, sonic. you'll be fine."
"But.. What about you"
"I'm ok. Just rest"
Before they took him away you kissed is cheek.
"i love you too" he said with closed eyes and a weak smile.
A few weeks later
It's been so long since you last saw Sonic. You started to get worried about him. You decided to meet up with Chris and his friends, to have some fun at the park.
"Hey, (Y/n)!" Chris and his friends waved at you
"Hey guys! what's up!"
"We have news for you. The blue guy that fought against that fat man just escaped the hospital!"
"Sonic!? Why would he do that!" You said worried
"Seems like he something was bordering him. Maybe he has something against Doctors"
"Or maybe the doctors aren't treating him well" You said crossing your arms.
Chris and the others looked at you sad. They know how much you cared about him. And how much you missed him. After spending a long time with your friends you walked back home. You opened the door but before you walked in you saw something blue passing you by. You looked around but you saw nothing, so you decided to walk in.
"Wh-Sonic!?" You saw the blue hedgehog sitting on your sofa.
"hehe nice to see you again (Y\N)!" He said with a cheeky Smile.
You couldn't believe what you saw. You walked up you him hugged him.
"Thank god your Ok! I thought i would lose you!" You said.
"Calm down, (Y/n). I'm perfectly fine..." He said
"Why did you escape the hospital!?" you asked
"Hey they were trying to make some tests on me! I'm not a labor rat!"
You calmed down. So that's why he was running away.
"So... Since I don't have a home or a place to stay at. Can I..?" Sonic asked scratching his back
"You don't have a home?"
"Actually no. My home is in mobius"
"I never heard of this country before. But sure you can stay here"
"Phew thanks (Y/n)"
"Just don't destroy anything by running around"
"Hey have some faith in me! I won't destroy anything!"
You giggled. He slightly smiled. He then got closer to you. You could feel his breath on your skin before he softly pressed his lips against yours. You kissed him back. He placed his hands on your cheek and softly stroked it with his thumb. You wrapped your arms around him, kissing him back. After a while you both broke the kiss. He placed his head on yours.
"I love you (Y/n).."
"I love you too Sonic.."

Update: I fixed everything it was too cringe omg. Evey time I come back and read this, and it still just sucks... C'mon I ty my best I swear. For now I just let this stay like this. It won't get any better tbh. So yeah I hope you enjoyed this 30 seconds story loool
