It was a sunny day in the town of Forks and outside a small cafe two teens were sitting having lunch together. "It's a nice day, isn't it?" Edward said, his pale skin glittering in the bright autumn sunlight. "I guess so" Bella replied, "Though I prefer colder days myself" She looked up into Edward's golden brown eyes. She loved spending time with him, just talking and staring at his chiseled features, such beauty that was far beyond human. "Have you finished the history essay yet?" asked Edward, snapping   Bella out of her daydream. "Huh?.... Oh, yeah, the one about ancient Rome? No, I haven't yet." She said distractedly. "No, neither have I, did you want to work on it with me this me this evening?" Edward said, flashing Bella one of his dazzling smiles. "Tonight? Sure!" Bella replied, smiling back.

"Cool, We'll walk back to my place after we're done here." Edward said. Bella liked going to Edward's house. It was about double this size of her own and was really cool and modern. The vampire took another sip of his coffee before standing up and looking at Bella. "I'm going to go to the bathroom" He said and turned around and walked inside the cafe. Bella watched him go in and walk into the toilets. The cafe wasn't particually busy, just a couple of people scattered around the building. One or two she recognised from school, but that was it. She glanced around the town from where she was sitting, and to her surprise there was no-one there. There was absolutley nobody on the streets, not even inside the building. It wasn't extactly an uncommon thing to happen on a Sunday afternoon, but it felt like the streets were completley dead, almost like a ghost town. Suddenly, a ruffling came from one of the hedges nearby. Bella's eyes darted to the bush and for just a second she could of sworn she saw a pair of eyes peering at her. She shook her head and looked back at the bush. There was nothing there. "It must have been a trick of the light." she murmured to herself.

"What did you say?" Edward asked, sitting back down at the table. "Oh, nothing, I was just talking to myself." She said quietly, still looking at the hedge.                                                                                  "Talking to yourself? That's one of the first signs of insanity, y'know." He joked, laughing. "Ha ha, yeah, that's funny..." Bella replied, not really paying attention to what her boyfriend was saying. Her gaze was still fixed on the mysterious bush, she was trying to convince herself she imagined the eyes, but she was almost certain that she did actually see them.                                                                   "I wonder where everyone is," Edward said "I've never seen the cafe completly empty before"                      "What are you talking about? There are people in th-" Bella stopped midsentence. The cafe was deserted. Not even the workers were inside. "But there were people in there just a few minutes ago, and I didn't see anyone leave!" Bella said, suddenly scared. "Edward, I really don't think we should stay here."                                                                                                                                                                 "Why, is something wrong?" Edward asked, puzzled. "I just... I really have a bad feeling about being here" she said urgently. "Bella, are you feeling alright? You've been acting really wierd since I got back from the bathroom." Edward said, now concerned. "WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!" Bella yelled. Suddenly, with no warning they sky turned a deep red and lightning appeared from the clouds. Wind was coming in from all directions and thick fog came steaming in, making it impossible to see anything on the ground. Bella could see a large figure coming closer towards them. "Edward, what is that?!" she asked, terrified. It got closer and closer until it made the form of a man sitting on top of a golden unicorn. "I AM GARETH, DESTROYER OF BAD LITERATURE!" He cried. "I HAVE BEEN SENT TO KILL ONE BELLA SWAN AND ONE EDWARD CULLEN" and with that, he took out a giant trident and pointed it at the couple "PREPARE TO MEET YOUR END, PUNY MORTALS!" The trident started glowing  until a bright light shot out of the three points and hit Edward and Bella directly in the chest. They fell to the ground in a crumpled heap. "MY WORK HERE IS DONE!" Gareth shouted and rode his unicorn off into the distance.

The End :)
