I was finally going home and I rang the doorbell. My mom opened the door and I walk in looking down at my feet.

We sit in the living room with my dad and they seemed calm.

After half an hour of talking my parents finally said sorry. I walked up to my room to charge my phone. I took a shower and when I came back I saw a text from a random number which said

Hey, it's jack here. I was thinking of throwing alec a surprise party

It's Alec's birthday after tomorrow

Yea basically we rented a house and we're gonna invite everyone so an open house party but alec won't know about it.

I don't know how I feel with meeting jacks girlfriend. I might be lowkey jealous but I also have a connection with Alec which I really love ugh but alec will play me I know he will. My brains like LSGSKSSAKSUSGAMSL&$!?@!!

I get a phone call from alec and we start talking the whole night. I told him about my parents and we talked about me moving out.

"Babe I can live by myself and I really want it to be with you. I would love to live with you like don't you love waking up to my face every morning?" Alec said on the phone call as I laughed.

"I don't know I mean it sounds good but alec what if something happens" I said.

"What do you mean? You're saying after our deal?" He asked.

"Yeah" I said quietly.

"Emma I don't know if you realize this but I've never felt like this for anyone and I'm not pretending to like you or fake kiss you. I do it because I'm attracted to you" alec said.

"Alec you're not used to relationships. You're the type of guy who fucks then leaves. I'm not ready to fuck so why the hell do you even like me. I know you will get bored of me and one day you will leave. That's why I haven't been dating till this age because I don't want to get my heart broken" I said as he listens.

"Okay fine. I won't move in with you but please let me help you find a place" alec said.

"Deal" I said as I smiled and he laughs.

"Talking over the phone made me realize how sexy your voice actually is" he said.

"All you care about is how sexy everything is. You have a really bad sexual mental health" I laughed.

"Is that even a thing?" He asked.

"You invented it" I said.

We talked for a few minutes then I decided to sleep. It was a good day to be honest.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP" I throw my phone the ground and it still doesn't shut up.

"Ugh" I groan and pick up my phone.

I take a quick shower and go on my laptop to start searching for apartments. I find a few that I could afford and I wrote the list on a piece of paper to see them later.

Then I suddenly get a text from alec.

I quickly get dressed. I wear black sneakers. Denim shorts and a white top. I leave my hair to air dry. I put some lip balm on and take some gum.

"Mom I'm going to study business with Emily because I failed last time" I shouted and quickly leave the house without getting any replies back.

I walk fast to the left and see Alec's bentley. He was holding a black plastic bag and I look as I wonder what it is.

I run to hug him.

"Ugh you smell so nice" he says before pulling away from the hug.

"Aww haha you too" I said as he smiled and he handed me the bag.

"What's this?" I asked.

"I was on the way and I saw the Godiva store... thought you would like some chocolate" he said while his hands on my waist.

"Well I'm sure I like you more than chocolate" I said as I laughed and he bites his lips.

"EMMA" I hear someone shouting my name.

I look back and it's my dad with my mom walking to me.

Holy shit fuck I'm dead.

My heart started beating fast.

"GET AWAY FROM HER" my dad shouts as they walked to us.

"Emma, is he bothering you?" My mom asked.

Alec looks at me and he wasn't planning on saying anything so I just decided to say the truth.

"Alec and I... are friends" I said.

"You told me you don't know him! And why did you just run out of the house lying to us and come seeing him??!" My mom started speaking loudly.

"Because you wouldn't let me meet my friends and also he was going to drop me there" I said.

"No! Nobody is going to drop you. If your friend wants to study she can come to our house" My mom took my hand and started taking me to the house.
