Avri's POV:

Deep breathes in and out. Come on Avri you got this. I keep repeating silent encouragements to myself as the plane begins to lower to the ground. I've spent the last few hours doing this as the landscape outside my window turns from icy, blue mountains to sunny, orange skies.

I've just left my personal hell and am now being shipped back off to my 'home' since I've apparently been 'fixed'. A MONTH. That's how long I spent in fucking cold ass Alaska with doctors and crazy people. And now I have to go back home and pretend like I've suddenly seen the light. I have to go back to being the Avri Stark that the world expects me to be. Because that's just life.

The plane finally touches the ground and I'm ushered out into a car. Which is surprisingly normal considering how much Dad likes to tinker with these sorts of things. I'm quickly rushed through the streets and deposited at the elevator entrance. There are body guards casually posted in places trying to keep me hidden from the public eye. Not like it really matters since there will be cameras everywhere tonight.

I take the elevator to the 74th floor and walk into the wide spread room. Looking around I take in all the decorations that have been set up for the ball tonight. There's sparkling chandeliers, red roses,a ginormous Christmas Tree, and red and green ribbons everywhere.

"You like it?"

Tony's POV:

I walked back into the living room to get my phone, so that I could text the gardener about the tulips outside. Once I enter I catch sight of bags on the sofa, and a girl standing in front of the tree. Looking at her closely I notice her short, vibrant, dirty red hair. Her Panic at the Disco crop top shirt. Her skin tight leather pants. Her red high heeled boots. Her checkered patterned choker.

"You like it?" I ask my daughter.

She turns around slowly. Studying me with her brown eyes. The heels of her shoes screeching against the tile floor as she pivots.

"It looks good. Did mom decorate?"

"Yeah. She was cooped in her office for like a week planing this." I say awkwardly.

Avri says nothing.

"So..." I start, "How have you been?"

"As good as an ex drug addict could be," she replies back with that lovely Stark attitude that I've grown to hate unless it's coming from my mouth.

"Why don't we go in the kitchen. Your mom and sister will be siked to see you."

She walks past me into the kitchen not waiting for me to follow.

Pepper's POV:

"Remi don't keep feeding that cat your food!" I say for like the fourth time in the last fifteen minutes.

"But mommy he likes it so much," she says showing me the spaghetti sauce splattered all over King's face.

"I don't care how much he likes it. You need to eat your own food, and let King eat his cat food."

Gosh! I don't understand why she's so intent on feeding the cat the food that SHE asked for.

"But mommy-"

"No. No buts. Your going to-"

"Ahh!"

I'm cut off mid sentence when Remi jumps up from her chair squealing. I look towards the door to see what has caught my daughter's attention. Standing in the door way is Avri and Tony. I jump up suddenly engulfing my oldest daughter in a hug. Remi's small hands wrap tightly around Avri's waste as I cling to her neck. But Avri doesn't really hug us back. She just stands there and smiles at us.
