I spent the day doing a few interviews and now it's 3:40 and we just got into the arena.
"So this is your dressing room with a vanity for you and the outfit that you dropped off earlier. You have soundcheck in 20 minutes." One of the backstage people said after she led us to my dressing room.
"Thank you"
My mom sat at one of the couches and opened her laptop, probably responding to emails. I sat next to her and took a nap for the twenty minutes.
*
After soundcheck, I walked back into my dressing room and started getting ready. I took a mirror picture in the bathroom to post on my snapchat story before going out on stage.
*
After my performance I went back to my dressing room and fell back on the couch.
"Oh my gosh that was amazing" I said to nobody because my mom was out on a call in the hallway.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it" I heard a voice.
I sat up because I was not expecting a response, to see Charlie walking over to sit next to me.
"I really did. I can't believe people actually sang along to my songs"
"Well you were amazing"
"Thank you Charles" We both stood up and I hugged him. It took a second for him to hug back but once he did it felt amazing. "for inviting me on tour with you and sharing your Puthinators with me"
He chuckled after I said that last part.
"Of course"
We pulled when we heard his name being chanted from the crowd.
"I think you're being called" I gave him a smile. "Good luck Charlie" (Please tell me someone understands this iconic phrase)
"You gonna come watch?" He asked walking to the door.
"Maybe" I gave him a smirk.
Of course I was going to go watch but what's the fun in telling him beforehand.
After he left, I went to the vanity to fix up my make up a little bit.
I could hear how loud the crowd was when he started singing 'The Way I Am'
My clumsy self forgot to bring a sweatshirt so I decided to go steal one.
I walked out of my dressing room with my phone and water in hand and walked towards a door that thankfully led towards the outer area where everyone comes through to get to their sections. Thankfully most people were in watching the concert beside a couple parents.
I walked to the closest merch station, "Hi can I get the Oh Charlie sweatshirt please?"
Now I could simply ask for my own merch sweatshirt but that wouldn't be fun now would it.
The older lady helping turned around to see where I was pointing and realized my face was on some of the merch hanging up.
"Oh you're Becca! I didn't expect to see you out here" She handed me the sweatshirt and I gave her the cash.
"I forgot to bring a sweatshirt over and I didn't want to bother anyone working so I snuck out here to buy one." I explained.
"You're such a sweetheart. There's only extra large left" She showed me the sweatshirt.
"That's okay, thank you" I smiled and walked backstage not before showing Security my I.D of course. Hopefully they don't tell my mom I was out here. She's all about keeping me safe but what's the worse that would happen out here.
I put the sweatshirt on over the outfit I performed in and I was like swimming in it but it was cozy.
Charlie was probably four songs in and one layer was already off his body. He was performing Empty Cups which was one of my favorites off his album. I took my phone out of my pocket and recorded it for my Instagram story: @CharliePuth we get it you have a perfect voice with the rolling eyes emoji and posted it.
A few songs later, he started taking off his shirt. Everyone, including me cheered.
"Take it all off" I yelled from where I was not thinking he could hear me.
He went to introduce his next song but laughed into the mic on accident.
"Sorry" He apologized for laughing. "I don't know if anyone heard her but Becca just told me to take it all off"
The crowd laughed and cheered with a few people agreeing with me as he introduced 'Somebody Told Me' (Fun fact: He actually had his shirt on for this part at the concert I was at but whatever) I started singing and dancing on the side.
The last song he played was attention before calling me over into the stage.
Oh geez.
"How amazing was she tonight?" He asked in the mic while putting his arm around my shoulder. The crowd cheered.
"I like the sweatshirt by the way although it's a little big"
"Thank you apparently everyone wants it because this was the only size left" I said into the mic.
"Well it looks adorable on your little body"
I tried not to blush, knowing it was just a joke because I'm sure I looked like a bag of chips but I'm sure people realized.
"Thank you. I'm going as a highlighter for halloween this year"
He pulled my hood over my head. "Yea I can see how you look like one. Let's give this highlighter a round of applause for her first performance tonight"
I took a bow and waved to everyone before walking off stage with Charlie.
"Look you even glow in the dark" He pointed out.
I pushed his shoulder and rolled my eyes. "Whatever maybe that's the look I'm going for."
He wiped his sweat and drank some water before going back out for 'See You Again'
After the concert there was the special meet and greet so I took the sweatshirt off and did a couple touch ups to my hair and make up making sure I was at least decent looking for all these pictures.

Back at the hotel I wiped my make up off and put my glasses on, then packed all my stuff to put on the tour bus when we leave in the morning and then played on my phone in bed. I checked instagram first to see if anyone posted about tonight. I checked my mentions and saw everyone was posting videos of me dancing off to the side of the stage.
Damn I really did look like a highlighter.
There were also videos of us when he brought me up on stage, the hashtag Checca was trending on twitter. Many people had things to say about it. Most didn't like the idea of me being only 20. Which I didn't understand because it's not like I was dating Charlie.
I tweeted thanking everyone that came to the concert tonight and then went to bed.
I try at the end of each chapter to apologize for any spelling or grammar mistakes because I don't want to get attacked but ya know it's not like I have people proof reading my chapters. I could not imagine what I would say if someone found out I was writing fan fiction in my free time. Last thing I need is for someone at my college finding my stories on here.
Anyway yea hugs and kisses to you all. Xx
