Chapter 5 - Rewrite The Stars

Finn's POV

When Millie first walked into the dorm room, my first thought was how beautiful she was. I've never seen anyone so beautiful. Her short brunette hair flowed so beautifully, and her eyes. Her eyes are just so beautiful. I was honestly struck by her beauty. I just thought she was beautiful, but from spending the past week with her, I've just been liking her more and more. I doubt she feels the same about me though. She immediately said no to the question when she was on facetime with her friends. I don't know if you could call it a crush yet, but I know that I think I might like her. I don't know what I would tell the girl on tinder though. We seem to have something good going, but she lives in Atlanta so it's pretty far. It's not like anything would happen...

"Good morning, Finn." Millie says.

"Hey." I say, smiling. I'm still very tired, but seeing her brightens my spirits.

"How'd you sleep?" She asks.

"Pretty well." I say.

"I had another dream about the same thing again." She says, looking a little upset.

"If you don't mind me asking, what are the dreams about?" I ask. I hope I'm not intruding too much. We have only known each other for a week, so if she isn't willing to open up I'll understand.

"My ex." She says. She takes a deep breath and continues. "He had asked me out once. I really liked him, then he just started using me." Tears begin to build up in her eyes. "He treated me like an object. He had no respect for me whatsoever. He didn't care about my personality at all...All he wanted was my body and my looks." She says, almost in full tears now.

"Millie, I'm so sorry. You don't deserve any of that. If a guy isn't able to notice what a great personality you have, then he doesn't deserve you." I say.

"Thank you, Finn." She says, hugging me. Her hugs were so warm and comforting. I go over to the counter while she goes back into the bedroom and go onto my phone.

Boy: hey

Girl: hi, what's up?

Boy: nothing, i just wanted to talk to you...

Girl: aww :)

Boy: so how has your first week been?

Girl: not bad. A few rude people here and there, but not that bad.

Boy: that's good, how's your room mate?

Girl: he's really nice

Boy: good, so is mine.

Girl: whats she like?

Boy: honestly idk how to describe her lol

Girl: haha

Boy: oh shoot, i gtg bye :)

Girl: bye :)

"So do you guys wanna do anything after school?" Gaten asks.

"Hmm, maybe. I'm a bit tired from PE this morning though, so I might just wanna relax." Noah says.

"Maybe you guys can all come over to my dorm and we can watch The Greatest Showman or something." Lizzy suggests. We all nod and go to our classes.

Millie's POV

"So you and Finn?" Noah asks, shimmying up against me jokingly.

"Yeah, what's going on with you guys?" Lizzy asks.
