Yu Narukami X reader (p4)

(So here is what my attempted practice is for an x reader type oneshot. I tried my best! If you wanna give me advice or suggest anything! Please feel free! I'm so used to writing with my ocs cause I've been so scared of trying an x reader so! I'm sorry if its trash! *jumps in trash can* the queen of trash has returned home!)

"I'm so nervous. What if this dress isnt pretty. What if this hair style isn't enough" you said looking in a mirror. There you stood. Your (h/l)(h/c) hair done in your favorite style. You wore a (f/c) dress your friends picked out. You had a date with the great palyboy of all playboys Yu Narukami. Yeah kinda rude calling him a playboy but soemtimes you couldnt help but think that. Your palms sweaty from being so nervous. Yu was so handsome to you. The way his hair laid. The way his eyes seemed always ever so curious. The way he would smile at things made your heart beat faster. You looked in the mirror even more. Studying yourself. Were you really worth a date? You had no confidence in yourself ever. It was beacuse you were always bullied by people. Because no one ever told you just how beautiful and perfect you were.

You turned your head to look out the window. "He doesn't deserve something like this" you said. Tears ran down your cheeks. You hated yourself for ever thinking someone you love would ever love you back. You heard the door open to you room. Your head snapping to see your father. "My baby's going on her first date" he said smiling. he had beautiful green eyes and your matching (h/c) hair. He looked at your face. Seeing those tears you didn't want him to see ever. After your mother left you guys it was just the two of you. He worked two jobs for the both of you. He supported you and was the best father you could ask for. "(f/n). Why are you crying? I thought you really liked this boy?" Your father asked. "Dad... I like him a lot but... Why would someone like him ever like someone ugly like me? What if he's doing this date out of pity? Or what if he only wants to use me?" You questioned feeling more salty tears flow out your sad (e/c) eyes. "One. You are the most beautiful young women in this town. Two if it turns out its pity its because he can't realize just how special you are to people. Three if he's planning on using you. I've got my baseball battle ready to go" you dad said pulling you into a tight hug. "Now go get him my little (f/n)" your father said wiping your tears and leading you to the door.

Yu stood there looking around in the living room. He had somewhat fancy yet casual clothes. He turned and saw you. his eyes going slightly wider. Then they went normal. He gave a soft smile and held out his hand. "You look amazing (f/n)" he complimented you. You looked away with a blush. "Thank you Yu" you said looking down. "You better treat her right. Also get her back before ten or else" your dad said threatening Yu. He cracked his knuckles to make a point. You just chuckled and facepalmed. You shook your head at your protective father. "Trust me mr. (L/n). I will get her home before then and treat her well" Yu said not seeming the slightest threatened by your fathers actions. You gave you dad a hug quickly. "Bye dad!" You said grabbing Yus hand and rushing out quickly.

Yu had taken you to a new place that opened up. It wasnt expensive and had a fancy vibe to it though. "So this is your date Yu?" A guy asked. He was wearing a uniform as he smiled. "Yeah so?" Yu asked glaring slightly. "Geez just asking. She looked really pretty. Just couldn't believe you managed to get such a Gorgeous date" he said. Yu glared even more now. The guy laughed nervously and handing you both menus. "He back" he said walking off quickly. You blushed from not only the guys comoliments but the way Yu got slightly jealous.

After dinner Yu took you to a park. It was beautifully lit and music played. Yu grabbed your hand. "(F/n) would you dance with me?" He asked. You blushed embarrassed. "I can't dance" you said looking away. "I can't either" Yu replied. "Wow city boy doesnt know how to dance" you teased him. He gave a small chuckled and dragged you into the dancing crowd of people. You both smiled to each other. Doing random moves and just letting yourselves have so much fun. For once in your life you felt free. Free from pain. Free from burdens and sadness. you felt the happiness of freedom. No more fog or TV world problems to worry about. Just you and Yu. Dancing the night away together. Yu eventually grabbed your hand pulling you out of the danceing crowd. He pulled you a little away and looked at your face. "You look tired" he said. "I'm not tired" you said lying. The adrenaline from excitement and happiness had finally fadded. Your eyelids becoming heavy by the second. "Let's get you home. Its getting really late anyway" Yu said taking your hand and walking with you home. His hand was so warm and gentle in yours. You smiled and blushed.

Once to your doorstep you turned to each other. Yu gave a small smile. "I had fun Yu" you said looking away blushing. "I did to" he replied. "Um Yu. Does this date mean anything?" You asked. "Yeah. Because (f/n) I want you to be my grilfriend. So the question is. Will you be my girlfriend (f/n) (l/n)?" He asked you. Your cheeks became red as you looked him dead in the eyes. "Yes!" You replied happily. He leaned to you and kissed your cheek. "Then. I'll see you later" he said walking away. You put a hand on your cheek that he kissed. "Oh my gosh! I'm dating my crush! Ahhhh" you fangirled running inside. "Dad! I have a boyfriend!" You cheered. your dad chuckled. "That's my girl! Picking up guys since 1966!" He said laughing at his joke. "dad I'm not old!" you argued. "Your getting old! Just look at you! You got a boyfriend!" he said laughing as you playfully hit him. He hugged you and gave the brightest smile. "Your mother would be happy and proud..."

(Well here it is! Its not the best but this is only a test run. So of course it was just romance. I might do sad ones and such if this one turns out to be liked. Thanks for reading my trash attempt!)
