Everyone is human in this story and teens! So that means hormones will fuck up a lot of things. Hank is a senior in high school and Connor is just starting. Just to be sure, when you first come you're a freshman, then a sophomore, then a junior and lastly a senior right? If I'm wrong please correct me. Anyway on with the story.

This was inspired by a oneshot written by sebacie2. Check out the oneshot book plz! Now for real. On with the story.

Connor's P.O.V.

Today is my first day of highschool. I woke up early because I was scared. I've heard Kara and Markus complain about bullies and racism. I should be able to handle that to some extent. Here at Cyberlife only "special children", as they call us, are raised in an environment that tends to what makes us "special". We all have some sort abnormal ability. The one thing we all have in common is that, for some reason, our blood is blue.

We still go to school but we're supposed to stay under the radar and make sure no one finds out. That means no extremely close/romantic relationship with anyone outside the tower. We don't obey that rule anyway. Kara has a boyfriend and so does Markus. They're both going to be juniors this year. I'm basically the "baby" of our little group. Amanda's voice booms over the speakers, indicating breakfast time. I quickly get ready and start heading down the stairs from the top floor to the dining area.

We're separated according to our abilities. I'm one of the only two people who have advanced mental abilities, like processing things quickly, pre- construct and re-construct events and a few less interesting ones. The other one is my older brother Conan who is now at university. So I'm alone up here. I don't mind. I'm used to being the odd one out. When I was younger, no one really liked me. Except Markus, Kara and Conan of course. They were there for me when no one else was. Not even most of the caretakers.

I finally arrived at the dining area and grabbed some toast. I don't really eat much in the mornings. I don't know why but, its just me. I ate my toast and got my things from the rack by the entrance. I waited outside for eveyone to finish up. I'm still very nervous about today. I've had to change middle schools more than once because people saw me bleed blue. Well, I wouldn't have bled if bullies would leave me alone.

Once everyone was separated into the vans I finally saw Markus and Kara. We hugged and sat down at the back of the highschool van. "You nervous?" Kara asked. I nodded. Markus then patted me on my back and said, "Highschool isn't all bad. Just relax. Enjoy today." He then whispered, "Make some friends that aren't like us. You'll enjoy their company. Some find our abilities, fascinating." " You need to be mindful and spot the toxic people when you choose your friends though," Kara whispered.

I nodded and we arrived at Detroit High. We got out of the van and headed inside the grounds. I went straight to the office to get my schedule and locker number. Once I got those, I headed to locker 210. I tried to open it but it was stuck. I kept pulling on it until it finally opened. I looked at the hinges and they were rusty. I would need to oil it up or I wouldn't be able to use it for long.

I closed the locker gently and turned to find my first class. It was chemistry on the second floor. I was half way up the stairs when some people pushed past me roughly. One of them yelled, " Watch where you're going dipshit!" The others laughed except one. He turned his head to face me and I was mesmerized. He had such icy blue eyes and long blonde hair. He also had a little stubble on his chin. He looked amazing!

The bell rang and they hurried up to the third floor. I headed to the chemistry lab and couldn't get him out of my mind. I need to find out who he is. Maybe Kara and Markus know who he is. They have been here for two years now. A short woman with glasses and brown hair walked in and said, "Good morning class. I am Ms. Jones. Welcome to my freshman chemistry class." We all replied good morning. "I have a few rules in my classroom. One, always do my homework or detention. Two, no cheating on tests ever or detention. Three, I don't take bullshit excuses about absence. Understand?" she asked. We all said yes.

Some of the others were a bit scared of her. I think she just really cares about her subject. "Take out your textbooks and turn to chapter one. Make notes. I'll be coming around to check in thirty minutes. Begin!" We all took out our textbooks and began reading. I could easily finish the whole book right now but no one is supposed to know that I'm from Cyberlife. I make my notes in twenty minutes and highlight the most important pieces. I read over my notes until she reaches my desk. "Let me see," she demands.

I hand her my note book and her eyes widen. "How are you done with the whole chapter already?" Everyone stops and stares at me. Some start whispering to others. I manage to say, " I'm a fast reader." She closes my notebook and says to the class, "This boy came to learn!" A girl with blonde hair whispered to who I assume was her friend and gave me a curious look. After she checked everyone else's notebooks the bell rang and Ms. Jones assigned us the next two chaptera for homework and we were dismissed.

"That wasn't so bad." I thought. The rest of the day was okay. Math was easy, English Literature could've gone better and lunch was okay. I got to see Markus and Kara. I didn't ask about the blonde boy yet. I didn't want to seem lovesick already. French was easy since I can understand different languages once I hear them. The I.T. teacher showed up drunk with traces of red ice on his shirt. He was completely gone and he threw up in the bin. Everyone just laughed and played games on the computers. I sat at my assigned computer and read the textbook, twice. We didn't have music today becuase the teacher never showed up.

Once the final bell rang, I headed back to my locker to get the things I needed for homework. I was almost there when I saw him again. He had the locker next to mine. I was screaming inside. "Don't say or do anything you'll regret Connor." Amanda's words were ringing in my head. I took a deep breath and avoided eye contact. I saw him sneak a few glances. I just grabbed my stuff and quickly left. You could say I was running away. I basically ran away from him.

"What a great first day." I thought sarcastically. The van doesn't come for us until five because almost everyone has a club pr sport. It is my first day so maybe I should find some clubs I could join. There were posters for many different clubs. The chemistry club seemed appealing. I was already "gifted" in the subject, Ms. Jones whispered to another teacher when I passed them on the way to French. I decided on two clubs. Chemistry and Sign Language. (Sign Language is one of my interests.) Amanda will probably force me to do a sport so I need to pick one by next week when all clubs start.

Five p.m. finally arrived and the van showed up. We all went in and I sat with Markus and Kara. "How was your first day?" Kara asked placing a hand on my shoulder. "It was okay. My chemistry teacher thinks I'm gifted in the subject," I replied. Markus chuckled and said, "Well of course you are with that great mind of yours." I gave a small smile and looked out the window. We were nearing the bridge now. Images of the boy kept lingering in my mind. His eyes seemed like they were looking into my soul. He's so dreamy.

I was snapped from my thoughts when Kara and Markus waved their hands in front of my face. I looked at them and we were parked in front of Cyberlife. Kara whispered, "Did you meet someone?" I blushed blue and shook my head no. Markus smirked and said, "You're making it obvious you did. Who was he?" My jaw dropped. I stuttered, "H-how did you know i-it was a b-boy?" Kara smiled and said, "We always knew you were gay Connor." We got out of the van and headed inside for dinner.

They didn't question me any further once Amanda entered the room. We sat silently and ate. After dinner I went to get ready for bed. I wasn't going to sleep but I might as well hurry and get a shower before all the hot water is gone. After I put on boxers and an oversized hoodie Conan got for me, I sped through my homework. Amanda's voice boomed over the speakers, indicating that we weren't supposed to leave our rooms until morning.

I climbed in my bed and stared out the window. I looked back to where Conan's bed used to be. The frame is still there but it feels odd just there by itself. I miss him already. He's been gone for a month and I already miss the talks we would have a night. He was a very fun older brother. Now he's out in the world and can make decisions for himself. I shut my eyes and see images of the boy. I need to know who he is. I'll find out eventually. Maybe I'll ask him. No. He wouldn't want to associate himself with freshmen would he? I'll just ask Markus and Kara tomorrow.
