Here comes some cuteness. This is somewhat a filler chapter before the next main drama. Enjoy!

Connor's P.O.V.

It's so calm. I'm not used to this. Normally there's always a problem that needs solving. Whether it be Konstantina, Gavin or other little bumps in the road. This is actually kind of nice. Hank likes this too. He deserves a break anyway. His parents have been stressing him about college the past week. My phone buzzed in my pocket. Speaking of Hank, he texted me.

H: Hey ConCon

C: Hi Hank

H: Want to go somewhere with me?

C: Trying to escape your parents again?

H: Yes.

C: Okay. Where are we going?

H: You'll see

C: Okay

I put my phone down and got ready. Hank soon arrived and I ran across the bridge to meet him. "Can you tell me where we're going?" I asked as I put on my helmet. "No," Hank replied. I held onto him and we drove off. We soon arrived at an old building. Hank stopped the motorcycle and we got off. "What is the significance of this building?" I asked as I stared up at it. "Just come along with me," Hank said holding out his hand. "Did you have to reference Adventure Time?" I asked playfully smirking. "I will leave you  here to find your way back to Cyberlife," Hank said. I put my hand over my heart, pretending to be offended. "You wouldn't dare!" I said. Hank went to where the door was supposed to be and said, "Watch me." I giggled and followed after him.

He led me onto the roof. There were paintings on almost every wall. "Did you paint all of these?" I asked. "Yeah," Hank replied. He sat down with his legs hanging over the edge. I joined him after I examined all the paintings. "You come here often I presume?" I asked. "I used to come here a lot at the start of high school," Hank began, "I came here to get away from all the stress." "When was the last time you came here to paint?" I asked. "The day before I first saw you," Hank replied. "Why'd you stop until now?" I asked. "Do you always ask so many questions?" Hank asked. "I just like to know things," I replied. "I somewhat forgot about this place I guess," Hank answered.

I turned my attention to the view. There weren't many people around. There was no noise. A cool breeze was blowing. This is nice. Hank stared forward and took in the sceenery too. I rested my head on Hank's shoulder. He placed an arm around my waist. We sat in that comfortable silence for what felt like hours. I could get used to doing this. My phone buzzing brought me back to reality. It was a text from Kara.

K: You should come back now

C: I'll be back shortly

K: Okay

"I need to go back to Cyberlife," I said getting up. "I figured," Hank said following me. "Our moment of peace was nice while it lasted," I said putting on my helmet. "It definately was," Hank replied, starting up his motorcycle. "We should come here again sometime," I suggested shile holding onto Hank. "Definitely," Hank replied before speeding off to Cyberlife. Today was very nice. I'll definitely enjoy coming back to our quiet place.

Hey everyone! Sorry for this being a filler chapter. I want you guys, girls and inbetweens to calm down before I move into the next conflict. It's going to deal with a certain permanently scarred boy's past. That'll be here soon (hopefully). Until then, BYE!
