👑Lacey's POV👑
"Ana, who are you texting?" I asked.
She didn't reply. She just typed at her phone, looking very determined.
I look at Rye, unsure of what to do or say. He just shrugged and looked back at her.
"Anaelle, what's going on?" I asked.
"Nothing. Just be quiet," She said sassily.
I bit my tongue to stop myself from saying something sassy back.
I got up and walked out of the room. I walked to the kitchen to get a drink of water and saw Mikey with his head in his hands at the counter by the sink.
"Hey, are you okay?" I asked softly.
He looked up at me and just huffed and looked away.
"Look, I know you're probably upset, but Anaelle wouldn't do that, just so you know. And she doesn't hate you. She's just mad right now," I said, trying to comfort him.
"How do you know that?" He asked.
"Because she's my twin. And she doesn't cheat. She never has and I don't think she ever will," I said.
Mikey gave me a small smile. "Thanks."
"No problem," I said.
"But is she still mad?" Mikey asked.
"I don't know, honestly. She was messaging someone when I last saw her. But she got mad at me when I tried to talk to her," I said.
He nodded and sighed. "I hope she wasn't messaging someone she shouldn't be messaging."
"Me too, but I don't think she would, even if she is pissed," I said, trying to be hopeful.
He nodded. "Yeah, hopefully," He said, mumbling the last word just loud enough that I could still hear.
Then he walked off.
"Anaelle, what are you doing?" I heard Rye asked my his bedroom while Anaelle walked out of the room.
Anaelle didn't reply and I stared at her suspiciously as I followed her to the Mindy room.
She grabbed a random hoodie-- that happened to be Mikey's-- and threw it on.
"Are you going somewhere?" I asked.
"Yeah," She answer shortly while walking to the front door.
"Where? What are you doing?" I asked, starting to become worried.
"Don't worry. I'll be fine," She reassured.
She gave me a quick hug and then walked out.
HEY! So, this is only a short chapter, but that's because there will be more drama in Taylor's chapter.
