👑Lacey's POV👑

After Anaelle ran off because of how awkward it was, I looked at Rye to see him looking anywhere but at me.

I dragged Rye to his room and shut the door.

"Did you really do that?" I ask.

He shrugs and looks down, biting his lip.

"Yeah," He answers honestly.

I bite my lip and look away from him.

He comes closer to me and pulls me to him by my waist. I gaze up at him.

He stares at my lips and soon starts moving closer to me. His soft pink lips attach to mine and he kisses me deeply.

After a few seconds he pulls away and looks at me again.

"I love you, Lacey," He says.

"I love you too, Rye," I say back.

He smiles warmly at me as his face brightens and he kisses me again.

Then the door opens and we pull apart.

"LACEY AND RYE ARE KISSING!" Brooklyn screams.

"Shut up!" Rye yells.

I blush and look down. Then Rye retracts his hands from my waist.

"Really? I thought it was only Anaelle and Mikey I'd have to see kissing," Andy states.

"Andy!" Anaelle exclaims.

I laugh. "Really, Andy?"

"What?" He asks.

I shake my head to myself and Rye chuckles.

****

I lay in the spare bed in Rye's room, unable to sleep. From everything that has been going on, I'm exhausted, but I just can't sleep.

I turn around and look at Rye. I can hear his little snores from where I am, so obviously he's asleep.

The bedroom door slowly creeps open to show the figure of my sister.

"Hey, you up?" Anaelle asks, unsure if I'm actually awake or not.

"Yeah," I reply.

She walks in and sits on the end of the bed.

"Why are you awake?" She asks.

"I don't know, honestly. I'm tired, but I just can't sleep." I huff, not liking the non-existent melatonin running through me.

"Wanna go outside?" She asks quietly.

"Yeah," I say.

We both quietly get up and walk to the front door, putting our shoes on and trying to creep out as quietly as we can.

"What time is it even?" Anaelle asks.

"I don't know," I answer, looking at the rising sun.

"We're definitely not getting any sleep tonight," I state, knowing that we both struggle to sleep when the sun comes up.

"Yeah. We're going to be exhausted today," Anaelle commented.

I nodded in agreement.

We both sat down on the grass not too far away from the boys' flat and talked about anything and everything. But we avoided the conversation of what happened to us recently, since we both knew that we weren't ready for that conversation.

Hey everyone! This was a shorter chapter, but I'm lazy, so yeah haha.

But now we've got two couples here! But poor Andy is still lonely and needs someone!

And thank you to the people who have voted and read this book. Taylor and I both appreciate it!

Thank you everyone!!

Sincerely,
Meredith
