These Are Some Desperate Measures

You know what's weird? Being best friends with your favorite band and being the one who keeps them out of trouble, yeah that's what I do. I'm 18, going to be 19 soon, I work part time at 604 records, live in my crappy apartment with my friend Derek, who is moving out soon to live with his girlfriend, and even though they are all older than me I get to look after the band Marianas Trench all day so they don't get into trouble. Yup that's my life, it's alright I guess, I'm just glad I have Mike, Ian, Matt, and Josh as friends. Okay enough about me.

"Lauren! Come in here hurry!!"

I hear Matt call from the living room. I get up off my bed and walk to the living room where all the guys were watching tv,

"What what is it?"

"Your boyfriend is here."

I roll my eyes at Matt who insisted I hurried. I walk over to Ryan,

"Hey what are you doing here?"

He gives me a hug and kisses me which is followed by an 'ew' by everyone including Derek,

"Oh shut it you guys."

I turn back around to Ryan,

"Just wanted to see you and was wondering if we could hang out maybe watch a movie."

I honestly didn't want to go out with him, one because I have a lot of things to do and two a movie probably means going to his house and just having sex. You see Ryan always wanted sex no matter what time of day or even if I didn't want to he would manipulate me into it. I say to him,

"Actually I've got a lot of work to do today for the record company, maybe tomorrow. Love you"

He rolls his eyes and I walk back into my room and close my door. When I sit down my door swings open and Ryan comes in slamming the door shut behind him.

"You know what you are just so difficult! I want to do something with my girlfriend and you just say no! What is up with you?!"

He yells and I stand up,

"Look Ryan I am tired of just going back to your place so you can just fuck me! I thought you would be different, but no you really fucking aren't and I'm so done with you!"

He starts walking closer to me and puts his hands around my waist,

"How about we just forget about this."

I roll my eyes and he then out of no where crashes his lips onto mine, I try pushing him away, but he just pulls me closer. I finally push him as hard as I could,

"Get out of my room and get out of this apartment! I never want to see you again!"

"Fine, but this won't be the last time you see me because I will be back!"

He opens my door and I follow him out making sure he leaves. He turns around and stops,

"Out!"

I point to the door and he opens it and slams it shut. I decide to lock the door to be safe. After locking to door I just walk back to my room and close the door.

Matts P.O.V.

"What the hell just happened in there?"

I ask all the guys, Mike shrugs his shoulders,

"I don't know, but it sounded pretty bad."

Ugh these are times I actually wish Josh was here I mean he is one of my best friends, but he can be a pain sometimes. Though he would know what to say to Lauren right now, maybe I should call him, or you know what I have a better idea,

"Alright Josh is usually the only one who knows what to say to Lauren so we are going to go interrupt his date with Amanda, in the car all of you and keep quiet, Lauren can't know we are doing this."

All the guys stand up and Derek asks,

"Who's driving?"

We all look at Ian and Mike throws him the keys and we head out the door.
