{2} Meeting Someone New (pt. 1)

Jade's POV

I was driving down to the park when I heard a loud honk near me that made me jumps and nearly slam on the gas pedal. I get startled easily. I pull over to the side of the park and turn of the engine. My heart is still racing a bit.

I take a deep breath and Seán puts his hand on my shoulder and smiles at me reassuringly. I smile back and we get out of the car. We both put our hoods on and walk over to a private area of the park where no one can see or hear us.

I sigh and sit down on the bench, taking off my hood. Seán does the same as he sits next to me.

We start chatting as we wait for my friend. I jump a few inches off my seat as I feel hands grab my shoulders, making me squeal a bit. I hear Seán burst out in laughter at my squeal and how badly I got scared.

I glare at him and punch him lightly in his arm. He playfully says, "Ow...why you hurt me, sis!" We both burst out laughing.

I then heard a deep voice that I found a bit familiar but wasn't sure, "This is your friend, Konner?" I hear a chuckle and put my head on the bench as I look up.

"Oh, hello! You must be Konner right?" He looks down at me and smiles back as I say that.

"Yeah! You must be Jade?" I nod in response.

We both stand up and hug each other. That's when I look behind Konner and what I see makes me squeal like crazy. Konner stops hugging me and rubs his ear, "Ow....shit..." I laugh and apologize.

"Oh yeah! This is my best friend, Mark!" He says as he points to Mark.

I start to go crazy, I love Markiplier!! I run up to him, "Hi!!! You're one of my favorite YouTubers!! I love to watch your videos!!" I say with a huge smile on my face.

Mark looked shocked by that and I immediately felt really bad. My purple dress flowed a bit in the wind, same with my pink hair. Mark noticed how bad I felt, "Sorry, I was just surprised that Konner's friend ended up being a huge fan of me. It's great to meet you, Jade!" I smile and hug him.

He chuckles and hugs back then moves some hair out of my face. I stand up straight and start to feel really nervous. My anxiety starts to get to me as I stop hugging him. My breathing starts to shorten.

Seán notices and runs over to me and tries to steady me, "Sorry, Jade has bad anxiety. So she ain't very good at speakin' with others. That's why she brought me along." I thank him and he gives me my inhaler which I take.

Mark looks guilty, "Did I cause that?" He asks, a bit of a scared tone to his voice, mostly covered by worry.

I shake my head, "It always happens, I'm used to it by now, don't beat yourself up over it. I'm fine..." I say as I start to feel better.

I then hear a loud squeal and jump about a foot in the air. Seán helps me calm down again after my second anxiety attack. I felt so scared at that moment until I realized it was Konner doing that, "Oh my gosh! You're Jacksepticeye!!!" He says with a smile as huge as mine on his face.

He runs over to Jack and hugs him tightly as he lets go of me and hugs Konner, I chuckle and start to calm down. He looks over at me worried, I nod and smile to tell him I'm alright. He nods back and pulls away from the hug.

I sigh and step back a bit and bump into Mark. I blush slightly and apologize to him quickly, "Sorry! I didn't mean to..." I say as I look up at him.

He laughs and ruffles my hair a bit, I growl playfully at him and grab his hand, "Hey!" I say as he stops.

Seán glares at Mark with pure hatred at first, "Don't get any ideas with my sister, got it?" He says with pure seriousness.

Mark nods and rolls his eyes. I get a few inches away from him, "So, does Konner have a channel at all?"

Mark nods, "He's a gaming channel like me, just hit five million recently."

I smile, "Woah! I'm an animator and I also do speed paints, I just hit six and a half million recently. I work with Jack over there," I say as I moved towards him, "He's been my friend since we were little. We know each other so well that we call each other brother and sister. We don't have feelings for each other, we love each other like siblings. Nothing more, nothing less." I say with a big smile.

Mark has a big grin on his face, "Wow, that's really cool. Konner and I only met about a year ago at a convention and he asked if he could hang out with me that day, I agreed. After the convention, we exchanged numbers and went on with our days. A few days pass and Konner texts me asking if I wanted to hang out with him and get some lunch. I agreed and from then on we became really good friends. I even help him with his own channel and he helps me." He says.

I try to contain myself since I don't wanna show my ears and tail until I feel comfortable enough. Seán already knows I'm a half wolf. So, he isn't that afraid of that side of me.

I'm glad he isn't, otherwise, I don't think I'd be where I am today honestly, "Hello? Jade?" I snapped out of my thoughts and turned to Mark.

"Sorry! I got lost in my train of thoughts, I didn't mean to ignore you if I did...." I say nervously.

He chuckles, "Hey, don't worry about it. Here, if you wanna talk more just text me." He hands me a slip of paper with his number on it and I give him my number.

We put each other's contacts in our phones and we both go sit down on the bench and wait for Konner and Seán to finish their conversation.
