Minju pov

"Hey Euna."

"Yaaa, you ate the last of my leftover chicken didn't you?" I wasn't even surprised she didn't even bother to greet me. I liked it honestly, because it showed how close we were.

"God I was so looking forward to eating that. I told you not to- Wait. Minju-ya what's with your voice?" Her tone quickly changed from fake annoyance to concern. Sometimes it still surprised me how well she knew me.

"Are you ok?"

I let out a big sigh. Today had not been a good day. Completely the opposite honestly. Just thinking about it was starting to give me a headache and I could feel myself getting emotional. I knew if I didn't do something to release the stress that had been building up since that morning I was bound to explode.

"Just.. hmph." I closed my eyes and pressed two fingers to my temple as I tried to gather my thoughts.

The line went silent for a while as Euna was waiting for me to tell her what was wrong and I struggled not to cry so I wouldn't make her worry unnecessarily.

"Talk to me please." She said sternly after the silence dragged on. I could feel her worry increase with every word.

"Euna-ya. Please come cheer me up. Today was hard. I don't want to be alone." I finally answered softly. Then I cleared my throat to keep the tears at bay.

"Alright, I'll tell the guys to postpone my studio session to later this week. I'll meet you at your place in around an hour and a half?"

"Omg, you have a studio session today? Never mind then, I'll just go to the gym or see if Saerom has time." I automatically hit my head with my free hand. How could I forget. Euna had practically been living in practice rooms and studios while preparing for the music department's showcase.

"Don't worry about it, half of those pabo's weren't even coming anyway." She teased, though the small strain in her voice told me she was tired. She probably stayed up all night again to work on her lyrics.

"But still, don't you have a showcase coming up?" I bit my lip unconsciously. Though I knew she was tired and had other things to worry about, I really hoped she could come.

"Minju-ya seriously don't worry about it, it's fine. Want me to stay over?"

"Yes please." I could feel the tears of relief burning in my eyes. I cleared my throat again and took a deep breath to calm myself.

"Ok, see you in a bit." She said brightly. This was one of the things I loved the most about her. Her bright energy. On a day like the one I'd had, I really needed that bright energy to absorb my darkness.

"Ok."
