I don't belong here. I don't belong anywhere. You wanna know why? Do ya? Well, I'll tell you. My name is Charlie, and I'm a "misfit". I've been a misfit all my life. I'm such a misfit that I was sent to this "wonderful" place called the Isle of Misfit Toys. Yep, that's right. I'm the Charlie-in-the-Box from the very well known Isle of Misfit Toys. I don't know why I'm called a misfit. What classifies someone as a misfit? Can you answer me that? A misfit is someone who is set apart from others because of their appearance, behavior, and even their name. That's right you can be a misfit because of your name. My friends and I look exactly like each other, yet since my name is Charlie and there's is Jack I'm the misfit. Like, I know these two girls, Sidney and Kassidy. They're twins. They look a lot alike, act a lot alike, and even talk a lot alike. They are both very talented and popular. But since their names are different, would you call either one of them a misfit? I don't think so. To be honest, I don't believe anyone should be classified as a misfit. You could be girl or boy, black or white, square or circular, and I wouldn't care. You could be PURPLE for Pete's Sake, and I'd still love you. But that's not what the world thinks. They think that you have to look, act, and be exactly like the person sitting next to you. That's why I like the Isle of Misfit Toys. My friends and I are all misfits, but we're misfits together. There will never be another Charlie-in-the-Box. So, I guess it's okay to be a misfit because it means that you are the only one of you in the world. The Isle of Misfit Toys isn't so bad, so why don't you come join us.
