When The Mighty Fall

Chapter Six:

Barry was still getting use to Earth-38, with Winn in his ear directing him, Alex in his arms, and his super speed, he was already nearing the small town Superwoman and Supergirl grew up in.
"You're a minute out of the Danvers house" Winn explained, "Turn... Now!"
Barry made a sharp turn and stopped on a patch of grass, lightly letting Alex's feet touch the ground he looked around. The house was on the seaside and it looked quiet and peaceful. A perfect place for alien refugees to grow up.
"Oh that was weird" Alex said, lightly doubling over and nearly vomiting.
"Sorry" Barry said, he watched a woman rush out.
"Alex, are you okay?" Eliza asked.
"I'm fine, that just wasn't like Kara or Kae's super speed" Alex said, standing up. "Where is she?"
"Come on" Eliza took her daughters hand.
"We made it here, Alex is going to see her. I'll make a few rounds to see if anyone from Cadmus is around" Barry said into his comms.
"Alright" Winn said.
Barry was off again, running around the seaside town in search of anyone who wanted to harm aliens.
Back at the Danvers house, Alex raced to her childhood room with her mother. She swung the door open to see her sister laying asleep in her bed. "Kae" she choked, racing to the bedside.
"She isn't healing as fast as she should, I think there's still kryptonite in her" Eliza explained.
"We need to get her back to the city, we have people there from another earth to help" Alex said to her mom. "It's going to be alright Kae, your going to be alright"

Barry gently put the blonde alien down onto a stretcher, she had dried blood all over her arms and legs, she was pale, and her skin was marked with cuts of all different sizes.
"Oh my god" Felicity choked. Everyone had eyes on the sleeping girl.
Barry raced out again, this time Wally following him. In the matter of minutes, they returned with Alex and Eliza. Alex held onto the bar as she nearly threw up, and Eliza brushing it off with a simple 'woah'.
"I need my supplies" Caitlin called out, rushing to the side of Kae. Cisco grabbed a black bag from the pile of stuff they brought. He spread it out on a table for Caitlin.
Caitlin started pulling on gloves and sanitizing her hands. "Okay, we're going to need sunlamps and curtains" Eliza said, rushing to the other side.
Barry raced again, coming back with curtains to put around the stretcher. He positioned them and plopped down next to Thea. "I need food" he groaned.
"I'll go get dinner" Dig said.
"I'll come with" Winn said. "Call if she wakes up"
"We well" Alex said.

After what felt like hours, J'onn and one of his most trusted agents had delivered 3 large sunlamps.
Caitlin had removed 5 shards of green rock from the woman of steel's skin and was working on another shard.
Eliza was working with a small sun flashlight to heal some wounds faster, running the light over larger cuts.
Alex was at Kae's head, comforting the sleeping girl. "All your friends are here to see you, well the ones who could. Some stayed on Earth one to protect their city" Alex whispered. "The Oliver guy seems to have a bit of trust issues, but he is worried. Barry has been racing around with his apprentice Wally keeping crime under control"
"O-Oliver?" Kae began to stir.
"Oh, shhh, shh, don't move Kae" Alex started. "Caitlin almost has the last few shards out"
"K-Kara is in Gotham" Kae whimpered. Alex looked at her mom and back to her sister.
"How do you know?" Alex asked.
"Dr Alder, she helped me escape" The blonde said.
"We lost contact with Alder two weeks ago" Alex said.
"She and Dr. Burke were there, they got me out after Lillian left" Kae whimpered as the final shard of Kryptonite was taken out. Eliza quickly took the steel dish and rushed out, Caitlin turned on the sunlamps and blasted Kara with the light.
Alex had to back away from the heat, but stayed close.
Everyone was sitting on edge, Thea and Sara had been staring at Oliver as he paced the room. "He seems really worried" Sara whispered to the younger girl.
"Yea, the last time I saw him like this was when William went in for a flu shot" Thea lightly giggled. "He likes her"
"Who? Kae?" Sara asks, slightly shocked.
"Yea, I mean, he was intimidated by her during the invasion. Now I think he may have developed a crush" Thea lightly giggled.
"He has a things for blondes doesn't he?" Sara questioned, tilting her head.
"Well, usually when he goes for anyone who isn't blonde, they end up evil, dead, or paralyzed" The short haired girl listed. "And yes, Felicity counts cause she dyes her hair blonde"
"I only ended up near dead" Sara said, "Unless you count you killing me"
"I thought we didn't talk about that" Thea mumbled.
"Should we ship it?" Another voice came up, Sara and Thea turned to see Nate and Wally watching as Oliver paced.
"Yes" Wally said, smirking.
"20 bucks they get together by the end of this" Thea bet.
"20 bucks they don't get together until at least a month after all this" Sara said.
"I'm with Thea, make it 40" Wally said.
"Nah, I gotta side with Sara on this. They both are stubborn" Nate said.
"If we're making bets on them, I'm raising it to 60, and I side with Sara" Barry said.
"Thea" Cisco said.
"Make it 80, I side with Thea" Caitlin said.
"I know Oliver, so I am on Sara's side" Felicity said.
"And I know Kae, so.. Thea's side" Winn said, blushing a bit when the short haired woman winked at him.
"It'll definitely take him a while so I'll side with Sara" Dig said.
"Alright, we discuss at the end of this" Sara said.
They all looked up when Alex began moving the dividers and revealing the semi-lively blonde. Oliver stopped pacing and stared at her as she attempted to sit up. "Hey" she smiled to the group.
"Thank god your okay" Thea stood up.
"I'm the Woman of Steel, of course I'm going to be okay!" She attempted a cheery tone, Alex and Winn knew she was still hurting cause Kae wasn't this cheery.
"You don't have to pretend to not be hurting" Oliver read Winn and Alex's mind.
"I am fine!" Kae winced as she moved. "Okay, maybe I'm hurting a little"
"Here" Alex fixed the stretcher so she could be sitting up with her back still on the cushion.
"Dr. Alder told me some stuff as she was helping me escape" Kae started.
"Like what?" Winn asked.
"To be honest... I don't know where to start" Kae wiggled.
