The Uniques's story:During one of their patrols of the city, the Alta Heroes come into contact with this group when they witness this team stop a crime in progress. After getting to know the group, they realize that the group does have good intentions but wants to get to know them more. The Heroes later learn that Starsis recruited them into a team similar to how he recruited them. The reason he did so was so that the group could grow together and overcome their issues. The series will cut to the Uniques's point of view on occasion but not often as I wish for the series to focus on the titular group, the Alta Heroes.
Bolt:A smart, relaxed, and agile team leader, Bolt's talents are a great asset to his team as he always comes up with a plan for the team in terms of crime fighting and team bonding. The main goal that this individual is trying to fulfill is the goal to become his own person and to break free from the shadow of the life he once lived.
WaterBoy:An often spunky and strong willed teen, Davis Vellum was found by Starsis after he uses his ability to control water;(ether through his concentration of the moisture and/or liquid around him, such as a small puddle nearby to even a large body of water and/or even the moisture in his body if he chooses too), in a fight against a gang when he was defending a bystander from their assault. After getting to know the new vigilante, Starsis makes him comfortable enough to explain his frustrations about being betrayed by everyone around him in the past, such as relatives of his and even friends he had who ether left and/or used him;(explaining why he ran away from his neighborhood). WaterBoy even went as far as explaining how he gained his powers, started his superhero persona, and living in a makeshift hideout to Starsis. Wanting the young man to learn how to put his trust in others, Starsis chose for him to be set up with Bolt and the Checkered Swordsman so that they can work together.
Checkered Swordsman:A silent young man with an outfit matching his favorite game and the gifts that he is blessed with, Marcus Lincoln uses his skills to help those less fortunate in the world he lives in and fights against the ones on the top of the social hierarchy that don't deserve their place in that position of the food chain. A loner, the idea of working with others is something that this person never considered or even seemed interested in until he helped formed the Uniques with fellow members Bolt and WaterBoy. Poetic in his work, this vigilante leaves a calling card of a checkered game piece of ether red or black at the scene of one of his crime stopping endeavors.
